Nujabes is nice (the Samurai Champloo soundtracks are amazing) but I consider him a different type of producer. He's more of an Ambient, Chill Out vibe type of producer. I've heard all of his music and he's more of a Jazz heavy influenced producer.

Yeah I know its kinda hard to categorize his stuff...the closest I could come up with was Nicolay. But son is incredible

│ probably the best of the four main soundtracks available from the │
│ series, is a relaxing, smooth blend of jazzy instrumental hip-hop │
│ and electronica. This is one of those rare occasions where a │
│ soundtrack (or, in SC's case, ALL the soundtracks) can function │
│ on its own as an album. It's almost too easy to forget that what │
│ you're listening to originated in an anime series. Highly recommended. │
