ncaa is one of those seasonal items you have to cop before the season starts otherwise it doesn't seem the same. that being said you can get apf along the road, but the as of right now game is most definitely ncaa 08.

all pro seems like a novelty type game that would be cool every now & again but would get old fast, ill wait for the price to drop, & like the last poster says you can get that any time,theres gonna be a time when your watching college football & wanna play a college football game

the gameplay will be to crazy for it to simply be a novelty that will wear off. i still play 2K5 to this very day and this game from what i've seen all pro looks like 2K5 to the 5th power minus the nfl license.
AP 2K8 for me out the gate. i rent madden and if it's tighter than last years i'll cop that too.
From listening to various podcasts (egm live, 1up), I've been hearing NCAA is the way to go. I heard they stepped up gameplay and feature wise. I'm a big Dynasty Mode fiend and I hear this is the best one yet. But if you're looking for something fresh and new go with APF. Good thing is since it involves legends there is no expiration date on it. You can play that b!tch no matter what year it is.

I did watch the trailer for All Pro Football on the marketplace and I wasn't blown away by it at all, but then again, 2k football has always been about having the superior gameplay as opposed to NCAA or Madden.

not to mention ncaa will have the same wack one camera mode like last year, and ncaa games always get cheaper in like jan hell i picked up ncaa 07 for 10 bucks
