Easily the best console shooter I've played for a long time, it's quite tough too (I'm playing on medium and only use darkness powers if I have to) the execution moves are fukking great too, going up behind someone with a shotgun and kicking them to the ground before shooting the back of their head is priceless

I dont know if im getting madden since I hated 07 so much. but I am copping ninja gaiden this week, and "the darkness" drops 7/20, so I think imma cop that one too.

I dont like college sports really so I never cop the ncaa football or basketball games. I dont think im getting APF 2k8, cuz I want real NFL football. I might rent madden this time to determine if I even like it this year to warrant a purchase.
I did end up copping the darkness and its pretty ill. between that and ninja gaiden this week, imma have plenty of games to play for a while. I might cop that heavenly sword and I'm getting warhawk too when it drops.
I've played a little more of the game and the main story is great, easily the best FPS game I've played in a long time, the quirky little things like being able to phone people, watch TV shows, take a train to where you want and execute people are a nice change to simple run and gun games.

Unlike a lot of people I take my time when playing through these games, I've had it since release day and I'm only at the hell on earth part, I'll play it on hard after I've finished it on medium and probably get all the collectables etc
