feeling calm and at peace/having the mind refreshed and ish. what you do?

me, there's times when i be cutting myself away from everybody like last night. i just had to. it was like 7, 8 o clock. i just had to be alone yo. i wasn't sad, happy or anything. i just felt calm, isolated and at the same time, @ peace. no jumping around, running around, being excited or whatever. i tend to be a hyperactive person when i'm alone and when i'm around the right people. so that was a good moment.

when i get the opportunity to ride in my own whip, i'ma take a trip to the woods and get the f*ck away from everybody and everything.

Yeah man, that's a real good feeling, being by yourself and having no outside influences trying to mess up your mindset.

If you sit back and really analyze it, a lot of the reason why you feel the way about yourself is the people behind you. If they have negative mindsets and are always talking down on you, you're going to feel like you ain't nothing, unless you've developed a mindset that is able to resist the influence of others. But being isolated at times is really great because it helps clear the mind. That feeling of peace and contentment is wonderful.

What I really like to do is get in my car at 2 in the morning and cruise the streets at night. Nobody on them... Just me riding, listening to some of my favorite jams and just thinking. There's just something about that isolation at times.

trill talk, the worst thing is having people bring their problems and worries to add on like a motherf*cker don't got problems already. those same folks be like whatever whenever its their turn to listen to somebody's issue. how they gonna beg a dude to be a psychologist then can't return the favor.

i hear you on that nighttime sh!t. nighttimes the best time to ride alone. nobody to interfere with sh!t. you drive outside your neighborhood out to the country? how you do it? g

For the most part, I just ride around the city. Ain't no need for me to leave. Sometimes isolation is real good because it frees you of the bondages all kinds of other people try to put you in, whether it is putting their problems on you or trying to talk that negative mess to you. Watch how much better you feel when you get around some positive people as opposed to somebody that's always got something slick to say to you.

That's what you should do next when you get that car man... Get around some real positive folks who ain't there to tear you down, but rather are there to build you up.

i second this whole thread. right now is one of the few times ill have this kinda time for the next couple of months. no one around me, just took a good cool shower and i got 3 hours before i have to work so I can just chill and be calm right now. feels good.
