black people how would u react to these questions

so i just started working a couple weeks ago at this plant and whatnot, I'm

being introduced to the lady* thats supposed to be training me during my

summer tenure here.
Keep in mind: i just graduated college like 2 weeks prior



the lady training me is country white lady in her late 40s

her: hi keith, my name is ---- so i hear u just finished school

me: yes ma'am i did...

her: what did u get, your associates?

her: ...no i just got my bachlors degree

her: ...oh ok, thats good. what part of SC do u live in?

me: I live in cb**majority black, somewhat middle/working class

her: ok... so do you live in a trailor?

me: ...no we actually live in a house

her: oh ok thats good

me:

her: well what do your parents do....

**so i tell her my pops occupation and..

me: my mom works @ DHEC

her: oh, what does she do there, is she a secretary?..

me: ....no shes an actual nurse....

her:

me:

then i just ignored her for the next couple of days

i used to get mad but now i just brush it off

yeah south carolina's pretty bad....i went to columbia for basic training at fort jackson, and after graduation we went to the courthouse for a tour (my pops is a civil affairs attorney) and swear to God the first thing the tour guide says to as after we enter is "here's the actual court room, and there where the defendant sits, or normally the negroes, ha ha ha". we left as soon as he said that sh!t.

wow. yea my sister lives near fort jackson, but its not as bad as the town near it called Irmo "whiteland". If youre black and in that area u better drive the exact speed limit. the cops fukk wit u out there.

j/k, but seriously, I would've called her out on alot of those questions. Probably wouldn't have got the job though, so maybe you did the right thing.
