I know it sounds crazy but I remember when teams would actually play two days in a row. But now that they have a set date to begin the Finals from jump that is a thing of the past.

you have to take in consideration that
the arenas are being used for concerts and other festivities
but i agree the more they stretch this **** out
the more agony

its always been used for concerts and events and such... no excuse... just trying to schedule everything around TV

Yeah, they used to have those back-to-back games in the second round too (usually games 3 & 4)
