Question So Even Lil Wayne's Manager Believes He's Oversaturating The Market?

I read it in the Scratch issue with Jeezy on the cover...the latest one I guess and his manager/dj/bodyguard/agent....etc. was basically saying how Lil Weezy's has a tendency to try and "over do it"

So all these wack a$$ punclines, mixtapes, whatever the **** have you is only making that n!gga the next Ja Rule....if Gilly strikes a deal with a major indutry hitter (i.e. Nelly, 50, Eminem...etc.) Lil Weezy might be finished...

Sh!t is wild b

Gillie been around since what 98? He's not 50 cent people actual liked 50 cent before he started dissing Ja Rule. I don't think the general public would like Gillie's music enough to get behind a movement. Plus the whole angle of him ghostwriting for Wayne has already been squashed by people who have left Cash Money who were around the situation.

All in all this is a dumbass thread. Plus Wayne isn't doing love ballads trying to sing either. People already know Wayne kissed baby just walk outside and have a hip hop conversation away from the internet. Guess what those people still like Wayne's music and are supporting it because he's not a homosexual.

I guess that's the new thing in hip hop let's try to find rappers who are gay..Lil Wayne, Pharell, and Kanye and try to expose them.

What are you talkin about, I ain't trippin on Wayne kissin Baby (although that sh!t is might gay) I'm basing everything on his skills and talent as a rapper.

Kayne and Pharell are only dissed my immature ppl who like or associate themselves with "street music" or "gangsta music". The same ppl that diss Kanye and Pharell are the ones taht usually acknoeldge Wayne as the "best rapper"...hip-hop fans as a whole are a big contradiction right now

On the real im tired of hearing about Gillie. He's a decent average rapper that's all. When Major Figgas flopped his time was up. Only reason he's even talked about is because he helped write a couple of wayne's songs. Which isn't a secret but even gillie himself said that he only helped write a couple of songs on the carter 1 and wayne is a good rapper. Nobody would give two shyts about gillie if his name wasn't connected to wayne somehow. Lol at him ending anybodies career

I understand what they are saying when they talk about someone oversaturating the market...I just don't agree. If they keep putting out wack sh*t then I can see that being a problem. But if you like an artist, and they are always out there with some hot sh*t...how is that a bad thing?

Personally, I don't like Lil' Wayne so any lil' wayne is too much, what do I care...but I don't see how folks that are weezy fans would find it as a bad thing. again...unless they think he's coming wack a lot of the time.

But you have to understand one equation

fans = fickle

Generally ppl are attracted to things that are different and stick out. When you CONTINUOUSLY come out with a mixtape....THAT'S NOT HELPING YOU....the reason Lil WAyne will do decent numbers when his album drops is because of the guest apperances he's been making, and the accolades of him being the so-called "best rapper" alive right now..not the fuckin mixtapes. Everyone is doing mixtapes how are you going to sale yourself if you're following what everyone else is doing?

Simply put Wayne has a niche that's working for him but without his manager he'd **** IT ALL UP....but I guess that goes for every other rapper right?

EVEN 50 Cent
