What the hell do you mean "emperors"? They didn't particularly want to leave rome, dioceltian decided they had to make rome ceremonial to make the tetrarchy work and have any hope of stopping any third rate general from having his troops declare him emperor and march on rome.

You couldn;t have 2 equal senior emperors if one was in rome and the other elsewhere, the one in rome would be seen as the emperor because he was in rome, so the eastern senior emperor would be the defacto junior partner even though he was supposed to be equal, considering the wealth was in the east, this was not a good idea. How the hell would a cunt ruling from niicomedia be the same as a cunt ruling from rome?

And diocletion was a balkan cunt. He settled in Dalmatia

I mean, there isn't very much to say, for real. Just for fun, though, who was Justinian's main general, and in 10 sentences or less, tell me why the Emperors moved from Rome...
