This gas cost too much $$$. I'm bout to start riding my bike to work!
I mean this sh*t is ridiculous. its like $3.60 a gallon by my crib. That means about $55 to fill my sh*t up now. and I only have a 6 mile commute each way to work (gotta drive from 82nd street to 43rd st basically). Now its warm, so I might get kinda sweaty, but imma be riding around 7 am so it should still be cool most days. plus I wake up around 5:30 each morning and run on the track too 5 days a week, so the conditioning shouldn't be a concern. and I have rode my bike here to test how long it takes before last summer. only problem is we don't have a shower here, but I take a shower in the morning, and its plenty of private bathrooms to wash up in.

I don't see why it wouldn't be doable... but at the same time, if you're commute is only 6 miles, then you're not really wasting that much gas to and from work no?

this n1gga a bum. it takes 3.50 to get to and from work and he's b1tching. Unless he's riding on a Lamborghini aint no damn way his car gets 6 miles a gallon.

@ your wack ass blog.
right, but I can save time too, cuz there's so much traffic out here, I can hit all the side streets and alleys and get to the crib faster.

Man you ain't lying I spent $47.64 on Saturday and I'm already down to less than half a tank. And I have to use my AC mayne or I'll roast. I drive about an hour to and from work nearly every day. I'm about to start looking for work closer to home and roller skate there.

I dont know about where u live, but the bus stop is half a block away from my crib. and 3 blocks away from my job when it drops me off. but that $4 a day for bus fair would be more than it would cost to drive to work. even @ 3.60 a gallon. thats why imma ride the bike instead. luckily, its not really hot outside yet. barely crack 80 degrees at the hottest so far.

Well I'm in FL driving form the North Miami area to the North Ft Lauderdale area. Traffic on i95 is murderous.
I see buses here and there and I know there is a commuter rail but that sh!t is still far from my job and taxis charge an arm and a leg and forget abou tme waking up at 5am just to use public transportation So overall the gas saves me time and money I still lost no matter how I look at it.

I feel u. public transportation is not an option for people in most cities, cuz their bus and train systems are sh*tty. I think chicago, new york, and philly have good public transportation. other than that, its not an option for most people.
beanie are you in the city? yesterday it was 90 in the suburbs idk what the heat index was
how about the subaway/train?
