Black dominated sports are unfairly criticized more
I for one am getting tired of the double standard against the black athletes. The 2 most heavily dominated black sports (Football & Basketball) are the only sports that get crucified daily especial when there is a fight or something like that. Whenever there is a fight in either of the 2 sports they act like it is the worst thing in the world. They will then call them criminals and thugs like they are scum of the earth or something.
But baseball has fights almost every other month. No one gets called a criminal or a thug. It is acceptable in baseball to use a solid object as a weapon. They can throw a ball at a player’s head (which is very capable of kill them) and all they will get is a warning. The sad part is that this type of behavior is acceptable onlyin a Non-black dominated sport
Hockey has fights on the daily. They focus more on fighting then they do on scoring. In this sport they will hit you with a stick and the all you will get is 2 minutes of time-out in the corner. Still no one calls them criminals or thugs.

sad but you are correct. They do call the blacks in baseball that get in fights and got swagger thugs though. Carl Everett, Milton Bradley, Lastings Milledge. etc.

They're not crucified from my POV. And I am black.
Outside of the Miami-Florida International fight, when was there a major football brawl where the participants were called thugs? That guy Haynesworth from the Titans was correctly blasted for stepping on that Cowboy player's head. But he wasn't called a thug by most folks.
And baseball brawls don't happen nearly that much. It's usually just a meeting on the mound, people shout at each other and go back to their dugouts and bullpens. And most pitchers don't aim for heads when they go for revenge. They usually hit opposing hitters in the back or buzz them out of the batter's box.
As for hockey: Plenty of hockey goons who instigate fights have been referred to as thugs. Todd Bertuzzi still has a bad name for sucker-punching Steve Moore. Darcy Tucker had a bad rep after hurting one of the Islanders players when he was with Toronto.
And basketball: I kinda agree with you on that. The Nuggets-Knicks fight wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be (minus Melo sucker punching Mardy Collins and Nate Robinson acting like a fool by trying to fan the flames). But some media folk overhyped it, mainly because of what happened during the Pacers-Pistons brawl.

So you're saying that sports where blacks make up the majority of the players aren't unfairly criticized?

if you are denying that there is a double standard to how white and black athletes are treated in the media then youre living in a fantasy world.
