SMH I all ready knew it would happen. Which is why I didn't really get serious. What do you think is the number one concern in Women's Health issues?
Agreed, especially that one type of breast cancer that is rarely diagnosed and sneaks up very quickly...arrgh what's the name of it - Dragonfly I know you know the name of it...

Only one I can think of is Inflammatory Breast Cancer, accounts for 1 to 4 percent of breast cancer cases and makes the skin resemble an orange peel. Ouch.
Eh what about Heart Disease? There's still a gross misconception about it being a male disease.
Edit...Matter fact that's the number one killer of women supposedly.
I think heart disease is important, but I think it should be dealt with as an issue for both sexes, since it affects both men and women. Things like cervical cancer, and the rate at which this type of cancer is linked to various sexually transmitted diseases, are particularly detrimental to women.

I think there should be more of a focus on it strictly for the reason I stated. Alot of women still don't think about it. Breast Cancer is probably the most visable issue, with there being alot of research and organizations pushing for early detection and the cure of it. There is also a major campaign geared towards being informed about Cervical cancer, which is a step in the right direction. Doesn't mean it's not just a trend though, because the same thing happened with Lupus and you don't hear as much about that now. That should also be a chief concern. My Aunt had it for years and they didn't even diagnose it until recently. I also think fibrosis is a major concern, especially for black women, but I guess yall get informer about that from your doctors and such. I still feel there should be a greater focus on focus on Cardiovascular Disease though.
