Just an FYI if you were even considering going to See Evan Almight this summer you might not want to see the new trailer. I was planning on seeing it but now I can wait till it hits video.

Same thing happened to me with Fracture a couple weeks ago, seems like a good movie but I kinda already know what's going to happen because of the last trailer they put out. I'm already one more revaling trailer away from not going to see Live free or Die Hard.

Is it just me, but I can not go see a movie where the trailer/commercials pretty much tell you how it's going to end, or they give away all of the funny punchlines. I can't tell you how movies I've been too where the Best parts, or even worse the "only" good parts were in the trailer. There's no suspence if they show scenes from what's obviously near the end of the movie and certain characters are missing /hurt/ have switched sides

I used to do a lot of focus group stuff for a couple movie studios (mostly trailers/advertising ) so I really believe they think they're giving people what they want. But it's really screwing up movies for me.

this is precisely why i didn't like 300. the dialogue from the trailer is just about all the dialogue in the whole damned movie.

If you mean how do i know that happens they show it in the new trailer. And if you mean how do i know thats the end. obviously most of the movie has to be the lead up to that point. and since we now know that that happens, how much more can go on after that. so it has to be near the end or at least the 3/4 point. there are only two possible ways the movie can go on after that.

Im just saying i would have seen the movie if i didnt already know what the payoff was going to be.

I know exactly what you mean

Hustle and Flow...They used to always show him with his hair braided up walking in jail.

And the whole time I was watching the movie I was like I hadn't seen so & so scene from the trailer....so obviously its the ending

What about the movie trailers that have **** that isn't included in the movie. I can't remember specific movies off hand, but I know I've been in the theatre thinking I saw a joke in the trailer that was never in the movie. That's happened a couple times.

Transporter is another, when he blocked the rocket with the plate was not in the movie.
