Taikun is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Vida Guerra: Rapper Game does not have ANY game & honestly he couldn’t get me.

AllHipHop.com: What’s up with the diss track about The Game?

Vida Guerra: I have one, but the people from my label won’t let me do it. They were advised by some other people not to do it.

AllHipHop.com: Was the track was supposed to be on your debut self-titled album?

Vida Guerra: I want it to be, but there’s the whole thing with the label. It’s a matter of working everything out. I want to but I can’t speak on if they’ll let me.

AllHipHop.com: How did the whole confrontation start?

Vida Guerra: The first initial contact that I had with Game, I was walking with my friend and she noticed a burgundy Charger. It was all hooked-up and she said, “Man, that’s a nice car.” I agreed and kept walking forward. She was still looking back and noticed Game coming out of the car. She said jokingly, “You should give me the keys to that car.” Game said, “Okay, but only if Vida goes out with me.” That was the first initial meeting with Game. Nothing happened. I said, “Hi,” but that was it. In December 2005, we were at Jamie Foxx’s Christmas party. It was at his house and there were about 100 other people there. I was in the living room that leads to the backyard.

AllHipHop.com: Like a sunroom?

Vida Guerra: Well, the living room was altogether, but the section was by the [exit]. I was sitting there with my friend and Game came in with his whole entourage. He went around the room and noticed that I was there. He came up to me and started talking to me; spitting some game.

AllHipHop.com: Does Game have any game?

Vida Guerra: No, not at all - honestly, because he couldn’t get me. So, that was over but he was trying to get my phone number. I didn’t want to give it to him, so we just exchanged e-mail addresses. As soon as the conversation ended, the guy that I was dating walked up. I knew that in his mind, he was probably thinking, “That guy is hitting on my girl.” I stood up from talking to Game, walked over to the guy that I was seeing, and gave him a hug and a kiss. That was the end of that situation, but in January 2006, Game started hitting me up, talking about, “Let’s go hang out.” I would tell him that I was busy, or that I was out of town. I would always brush him off. This happened for two months. His reply to me would always be, “Why are you running,” :lol or “Why are you hiding?” :lol I figured that after a while he would take a hint and stop.

When it started getting warmer here in Los Angeles, I started getting party invites that I guess go out to everybody. I must have been on a list. Game was having pool parties. I never went to any of them, until July 4. I was hanging out with my girls and we didn’t have anything to do. I got the page talking about the pool party and we decided to go. We drove to Glendale to his house. They told us to go in through the back. When we did, there was a pool hall, drinks and a whole bunch of girls. Everybody was in their bikinis. I mean, it looked like a straight up video. We didn’t really know anybody, so we went to get some drinks and [eat] what little food that was left. I started playing pool with Too $hort. He beat me. After that, we were having drinks and this dude came up to me saying, “Game told me to get you. I’m warning you, he’s going to throw you into the pool.” Game was throwing girls into the pool. I said to my friends, “Let’s get the f**k out of here!” I didn’t want to get thrown in to the pool because I didn’t have my bathing suit or anything. So we left.

Afterwards, he didn’t have my e-mail because the guy that I was dating at the time was like, “You have all of these guys hitting you up. You need to change your e-mail.” I did and then heard the song when it came out. Now it’s over. When I first heard it, I was like, “Wow, he took rejection that serious?” My people at the label got a call from Bryan Barber. He was talking about how Game wanted me in the video. Now, how desperate am I that I’m going to go to the video?

AllHipHop.com: That’s a slap in the face.

Vida Guerra: Right! I heard that if we [the video girls] did the video, he wouldn’t talk about us and he would say that it was a publicity stunt for record sales. Controversy sells. I was like, “F**k that!” I was later told that some of the other girls were going to do it. Melyssa Ford works with the guys that do my website. I called them, to call her and say not to do the video because she would be playing herself. They were paying good money for the video but that means nothing because they’re actually talking about you. They had told her the same thing that I was going to do the video.

AllHipHop.com: That sounds pretty foul.

Vida Guerra: Yeah, because they were trying to play a game. After that I saw the girl that they got to play me in the video. She didn’t look anything like me and I laughed about it. Then, Game went on Hot 97 in New York and was talking about how he “walked into the room, saw me in the corner and two minutes later was fingering me in both entries.” This guy thinks that he’s so fly that he’s got it like that. He thinks that he can just walk up to a girl and be like, “Let me finger you.” No! I’m not a groupie. I never was before I became famous, and I’m not now.

AllHipHop.com: Has there been any legal action taken like a restraining order or a slander suit filed?

Vida Guerra: Like defamation of character?

AllHipHop.com: Exactly.

Vida Guerra: I waned to do that but they advised me not to.

AllHipHop.com: How is it that Gloria Velez ended up in the video? Game mentioned her, but in interviews, he states that he was just giving her props. Yet, there was also the whole Luke situation…

Vida Guerra: Is it true?

AllHipHop.com: I don’t know, but there was the Freak Fest video. That battle has been going on for a long time.

Vida Guerra: I heard about the video.

AllHipHop.com: It’s mostly a bunch of girls doing a little something strange for a little bit of change. So, why was Gloria in the video?

Vida Guerra: I don’t know what she was thinking. I don’t know what he offered her. I have no idea but I know that she shouldn’t have done it along with every other girl in there. He’s naming girls that have been in music videos. They’re in it while he’s talking about “Wouldn’t Get Far.” She’s [Gloria Velez] lip syncing the part. I’m like, “Are you crazy?” Although he’s talking about specific people, he’s talking about women that have been the highest paid as far as doing music videos. These girls strive to be like that and basically he’s making fun of them.

AllHipHop.com: Have you talked to Melyssa Ford personally about the situation?

Vida Guerra: No, I haven’t talked to her personally about it.

AllHipHop.com: When’s the album coming out?

Vida Guerra: The album is on hold right now because of all of the things that are going down with downloading music and the artists not getting paid for it. They’re [In Ya Face Records] trying to come up with a game plan. I’m in the process of recording a few more songs and using other producers. Right now, everything is in slow motion.

AllHipHop.com: How would you describe your music? You’re rapping on the album?

Vida Guerra: I don’t consider myself a rapper, but it’s kind of a sexy flow. It’s kind of like what Fergie is doing. And then singing…People are like, “Oh my God, she can sing!” People think that because you do other things or something came first that you can’t do anything else.

AllHipHop.com: I have to ask, is there currently a special someone in your life?

Vida Guerra: No, I’m trying to find a good guy. I don’t like to be single, so it’s really hard.

AllHipHop.com: Is it hard to find someone in the industry that’s real?

Vida Guerra: Well, that and the whole industry thing. It’s everything.

AllHipHop.com: What about guys outside of the industry?

Vida Guerra: I try to do that. He can be in the industry, but not be the main talent. He can be one of the behind the scenes people. They have to be able to understand.

AllHipHop.com: Understand?

Vida Guerra: When you date a regular person outside of the industry, they don’t know. They might get mad at you for different things. It’s hard, but I have not yet found my guy.

AllHipHop.com: With success comes turmoil.

Vida Guerra: Well, everything can’t always be good. There has to be a little bit of drama in everybody’s life. I’m a very spiritual person and feel that I haven’t met the right person because I’m not supposed to get serious yet. To me, there are still too many things that I want to accomplish.

AllHipHop.com: Well, I know that everything has been stressful…

Vida Guerra: Tell him, I’ll take a lie detector test whenever.

AllHipHop.com: That can be arranged.

Vida Guerra: Yeah, but be needs to [be able to] apologize.
