Former No. 1 pick Harrington signs deal with FalconsESPN.com news services
ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting the Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with free agent quarterback Joey Harrington on a two-year contract.
Financial terms of the deal were not available.
Harrington will replace Matt Schaub as Michael Vick's backup in Atlanta. Schaub signed a six-year, $48 million deal with the Houston Texans last month.
Last season, Harrington played in 11 games for the Miami Dolphins. He passed for 2,236 yards along with 12 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
Before joining Miami, Harrington played four seasons with Detroit. The former University of Oregon standout was the third overall pick of the Lions in the 2002 NFL draft.

This is make or break for a lost of squads in that division.
Falcons-People will turn on Vick if he doesn't deliver. With Horn he should put up stats and Horn can show he still has something left.
Carolina-Jake D better get off to a fast start or his career as a starter is over. His 5 year window is closing fast.
Bucs- Cadillac got his bad year out the way, now he needs to be the RB we all believed he can be. Galloway, Clayton and CJ??? If Simms don't put up Brees type numbers, he's a joke IMO. That offense better be EXPLOSIVE.
Saints- Pretty much the truth, they just need to keep rolling.
It's been rumors that we will draft Adrian Peterson at #4 and trade Cadillac Williams to Green Bay/Buffalo for a draft pick.
I'd like to have either AP or CJ though.
I like AP too but the bucs really need a receiver. Maybe they see a prospect they can draft in later rounds.
idk if the saints can do as good again next year if they dont play defense again
