dating some girl for 2+ years and they broke up, is it cool to hook up with her???
She has been sending me subliminal hints. They broke up a few months ago but they were serious when they were dating. As far as I know, they dont really speak to eachother anymore. Not cause of some beef but one of those relationships where its hard to be friends again. I am pretty sure they will never get back together.
The guy is one of my closest friends though.
I know he would give me the go ahead if I ask cause its a guy thing to do but I feel it may not be cool.
Should a friends former serious ex-girlfriend always be off limits to his close circle of friends?

Whats mainly holding me back is that she was his first real love and the fact they dont really speak that much kinda makes me think its still abit touchy.
He never talks about her though but I dont think he likes talking about her.
I just wanna hit it basically.
