Default Crackdown 2 wants and needs

Post here what you think that would make the great game known as crackdown better.

Improve the lock on system. I think its dope how you can choose where to aim while locking on. Just sometimes you'll lock on to things you don't want TOO often.

Making driving a little bit more necessary. I like how they're no real mission's per se, just make it where you have to chase some criminals down in the whip. Here I have these dope ass whips. But I could go the WHOLE game and not need to drive a car once. Also drive by's are a no brainer

Make the game longer.

Also have the main character have.....CHARACTER. This isn't GTA3.

Good suggestions, good thread

I would like to have bases where you can choose your cars from. I hate having to lug a SUV to Shai Gen or some shyt.

how bout more variety in missions. Andreas had a real nice variety of missions and a good story to go along with it, so playin crackdown was a disapointment to me as far as that goes.

Like you said, make driving more of a factor.

Have some type of real story.

C/S

I hate them GTA missions. Where you gotta go around doin some inane task just to advance the story fukk that. At least in Crackdown I can take down the enemies my way.

I also like in Crackdown how it doesnt matter if you die. I know that may ruin the replayability for some of yall but I dont time to be re-doin everything over again everytime I die in the game just cuz I forgot to save.

co-fukkin sign... that was the only real issue i had with gta. I hated when you got caught by the cops or died and all the weapons you got were gone. So it was either reload and lose possible progress or work to get weapons again.

More hand to hand combat, give the option of using guns, or progressing to the point where you dont need them. Also, I wanna throw niqqas off buildings while they're still alive, why can I only pick these muthafukkas up when they're dead.

Destructible envirornments, punching holes through walls..

Co-sign on the lack of any chases, I wanna see a boss try and dip when shiit hits the fan. Hop in a speed boat, or a car and try to get away.

u guys are obviously gay. I cant take anything kodie says seriously when he just stated he got the game just to collect orbs

GTA has like 70 missions, like they're all gonna be the same and everyone of them is very original and great.

I disagree, you're supposed to semi aim in crackdown, aim at what you want with the control stick and then left trigger to keep locked on, once you've killed the enemy, let go and aim at someone else before holding left-trigger.

I did enjoy this game, but the missions were all identical, even a car chase would've been a nice change. Im sure the next game will be alot better

i always thought there was WELL enough money made in gta to get back the weapons u lost. I always had TOO much money and it never was a issue for me.

Also if u just take the weapon spot its easy to go back to the shops and re-cop.

Simply put...crackdown...to me...needs to be MORE like gta in terms of more variety of missions....more car driving...and storyline. Most importantly storyline...absolutely SHYTS on crackdown (if u wanna call that a story at all, lol)...If you have played GTA all the way through, that shyt was epic. Felt like an RPG after u got out of the hood.

Crackdown was just go here...kill this dude...go here...kill this dude....no dramatic car chases....helicopters...handgliding...escort missions...save so and so....drug deals..plot twists...etc...it was just so much shyt in gta that i wanted in crackdown.....

I don't know man...crackdown really dropped the ball to me outside of the super-human abilities

The thing to me is, it's not tryna be GTA. It's a whole other genre. They're about as similar as Ridge Racer and Gran Turismo to me at this point. They're both "Racing" but very different.

I agree completely. I love the fact that there really isn't a story in Crackdown, I also love the fact that dying really doesn't hurt you. Only time it does is if you managed to get a nice ass weapon and died before getting back to the supply point. This game is just plain fun, even if I die almost repeatedly I don't get frustrated. I'm really happy with this purchase.
