Default It's time to wise up, and revoke Bill Clinton's "He's Black" card!!!!!

How many out there have heard the former President Bill Clinton is the “first Black President”? How cute huh.

How has Bill Clinton, a WHITE MAN, come to be called Black-by-Black people themselves? Here are a few reasons that I have heard:

He smoked weed
For some reason part of the Black populace believes smoking marijuana is synonymous with being Black. I’ll admit some of my own friends back in the day would say, “Clinton, that’s my n!gga, he smoke blunts!”

He appeared on the Arsenio Hall Show
I remember being a kid and being blown away that this man graced us with his presence on Arsenio. Not only that, but he was wearing locs (sunglasses) and playing the sax!

I must admit that my mother and I were sold on him from that point on.

He visited Black churches
Clinton frequently visited Black churches. I can easily remember folks saying, “At least he’s not afraid to be seen with Black people. Reagan or Bush never did that.” It’s almost like the cool kid who gets points for spending half of recess with the nerds.

Now I’ve also heard “Clinton did more for Blacks than any other President since JFK”.

Do these same people know that civil rights legislation did not pass under JFK? JFK didn’t want to pass anything because he was afraid of alienating racist voters in the south.

But I digress.

What do you consider “doing for Black people”? What piece of legislation did Clinton pass that directly benefited Blacks?

He actually cut welfare, a move that outraged the poverty stricken section of the Black community. Why did the “Black President” make a move that he knew would hurt the very poor people this country has created?

Do those who call Clinton Black know that affirmative action was ended under the Clinton administration? How could the “Black President” let something like that happen on his watch? Affirmative Action, a product of the blood of the civil rights movement, ended under the first Black President.

He visited Africa and did the tootsie roll with some of the people there. But where were the dollars? Where were the AIDS vaccines? Where was the landmark sweeping legislation that changed things for the people there? Visiting, dancing, having a cigar with a king is not doing anything for the people. I would have thought a “Black President” would do more.

Record numbers of Black men went to Prison under Clinton. The 3 strikes law that man Blacks find racist was not overturned, but gays being denied to join to military was!

So what exactly makes Clinton Black? What makes those same people who call a Black man like Clarence Thomas an Uncle Tom, call a White man like Bill Clinton Black?

black people always love someone who treats them like shyt. it's like a woman who always goes back to the nicca that cheats on her and slaps her around.

OJ stopped being black like 30 yrs ago and niccaz jumping around like fukin idiots when he got acquitted.

Hillary didn't do shyt for black people the last 15 yrs she had power, but we still support her over one of our own.

Marion Barry, Rep. Jefferson, Mel Reynolds etc are admittedly corrupt, then we turn around and re-elect or support them.

Bill sat around getting BJs from fat white chicks while a million Rwandans killed by machetes and farming tools - and worse of all, he ordered State Dept. officials NOT to use the word "genocide" when reporters asked them about the situation. This is because if it was actually called genocide, then the US and UN would be compelled by Int'l law to try and stop it.

Bill Clinton pulled a "justin timberlake" on Black Folks, had em thinking he was for thier intrests, but in reality he was an opportunist.

For example i can personally attest to the "devilsh" deeds of "Black Bill", for example he was the main advocate of all these gentrificatioin efforts i.e (urban renewel) in which low income residents were driving out of the downtown and midtown areas of most metro cities in an effort to make room for condos and luxury office space.

People have to realize Bill didn't come to Harlem cause he wanted some "ribs", he made that a precedent and an incentitive for the rich and corporate bigwigs to come to downtown, in exchange for Clinton driving up property values and beefing up police and survellience patrols in the inner city.

Look at all the housing projects that have been knocked down.....it's crazy.

Clinton was a "centrist" democrat, meaning he straddled the fence between liberal concerns and big business conservatisim.

Our black asses was too uneducated to realize this political shame, and got blinded by his "******ish antics" i.e (weed smoke, getting his dikk suck)..we just saw his flaws and felt he was one of us.

Yes i agree he used blacks, so much so that Micheal Moore dedicated a whole chapter to him within his brilliant STUPID WHITE MEN text describing all the atrocities that Bill Clinton commited.

Let's keep it real than

you wanna keep it real right?
then lets keep it real!

Fukk Bill Clinton
but we can bring it back..
why is Abraham Lincoln still
looked at as a black moses

real talk

The Black man wasn't freed in America because Abe Lincoln was a humanitarian! The Black man was freed because the United States wanted to progress economically. Cotton was no longer so valuable when Egypt deeboed the cotton industry, so why was the US gonna keep sitting on that?

There had also already been gains in technology and ideas comming to light on how to excellerate production, thus signifying the use of slaves to someday be pretty much worthless labor. Let a machine do it.

Also, you could tax plantation owners for what that's worth... or you can restructure the economy to one where slaves are able to work.. thus they are able to be taxed, and this would modernize the economic structure to strengthen a central government with a pool to pull from.

most of latin and south america, and europe had either already freed slaves, or were on the verge of freeing slaves
it was the times

so real talk
you gonna hit clinton
you gotta hit the man who essentially
is basically the first clinton
in terms of who we are indoctrinated since
elementary school, to view as someone representative
of black rights and black representation

i bring about this point because
you're quick to shoot down clinton
but use Abe as an example of how
republicans at one time were for blacks

you mr. PeterV make some good points
but u make them in the context of trying
to persuade your fellow brothers from the right
hand to the left hand of the same exploitative system

in the end
you arent for black people
you are for
yourself

and you want other blacks
to vote for their individual selves also
but keep it real and say that
THEN you can have a conversation
about how that would be progressive
and how that would still leave you a crab
in a barrel

No doubt about it.

But that doesn't mean that Blacks must embrace them as of their own.

There is no problem with liking a politician.

But what's behind the thinking that causes you to say that politician is a part of your race is the real question....

Oh no, don't get it twisted. I'm no Abe fan.

I'm also not trying to champion the Republican party.

I'm just trying to throw different ideas out there for us to ponder, instead of the same ole no justice no peace stuff...

smh, when your a politician trickin people into thinkin your good for them so they vote with you comes with the territory. politicians that start off wantin to make a difference and **** end up like the rest of the politicians when they get to an age where they have enough experience to hold office, and are really just concerned about their legacy and their power. clinton used black people and idetified with them to gain power, just how bush calls himself a true texan and **** to identify with voters from places lke that
