That sucks. I thought Dreamgirls was a top 5 movie last year. But in good news, Little Miss Sunshine was nominated and that was the BEST movie last year.
I need to see Letters from Iwo Jima even though I'm sick of the academy and their Clint Eastwood infatuation.

Looks like Scorese is finally gonna get him one for best Director this year.
Thas what I was thinking looking at that...But they'll prolly give best pic to Babel and Director to the dude who did it...Unless they just do some whole off the wall sh1t this year and best actor, picture and director go to different films. I think Forest Whitaker is gonna get Best Actor. Yo anybody know if Chicago got nominated for best film when it dropped? Musicals normally don't get sh1t at the Oscars. They need to do a Comedy category too like the Golden globes.

a little bittersweet if you look at the competiton he's up against this year, its his award to lose.

it won best pic.
and i agree, o'toole's got this on lock for best actor. it's the whole "this is his last chance because he'll probably be dead by next oscars" mentality.
and don't underestimate the best director competition. eastwood is always a threat.
