Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) said:
Reported from Abu Qutaadah that the Messenger of Allaah (pbuh) was asked about fasting on the Day of Arafaah. He said, 'It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.' Narrated by Muslim.
Imagine all the sins we committed in 2005 as well as those that we r gonna do in 2007 are all forgiven. People claim Islam is a hard religion, our sins are forgiven just by fasting one day, we don't have to kill somebody so that they can die for our sins. Allah(Swt) is pure JUSTICE and MOST-FORGIVING.
Imagine fasting 1 day gets 730 days worth of sins erased. Every hour that you fast deletes approx 1460 hours of sins. Its the best GIFT CARD anyone could give you.
So Inshallah, we know the drill, those who are going to join us Inshallah, send me a message of solidarity, y'all know how we do it.
