There's a lot of people who like him, simply because he's very religious.

It's been my argument for a very long time that the only reason the American people like him is because they think he has a good personality, and they agree with his religious beliefs.

I'm surprised I haven't heard a lot of shouting and sh!t tossing about the fact that we have a president right now that was another president's son. Why not just call the m0therfuker king?

All hail King George II. Yay for America.

No, people like him because he's an ignorant redneck, and therefore he represents the overwhelming majority of the population-the sheep! It amazed me that when I would ask why people would vote for Bush, one of the most common responses was that "he reminds me of the average person-he seems normal and like me!" This had to be the most ignorant thing I've ever heard, because I can't fathom why you would want an everyday average person to run your country! I wouldnt even trust myself to run the country, so why would I want some ignorant redneck running the country? Especially when you know eloquence is a key factor when it comes to being the figurehead of our country, and being a diplomat to other countries and regions.

I was talking to my mother about it the other day, and keep in mind, she's very religious. Anyway, her justification for supporting Bush was that in the Bible, Jesus did not always call on the most ideal people to do his work, i.e. Moses, and sometimes God doesnt call on the strongest or most eloquent people to carry out his missions. Sometimes God sees things in people that we do not see. I was like "Sure mom!"

And to Alchemy, I'm just quoting what my mother said. I dont get into the bible too much, but she argues that according to her studies, Moses was not have been the person that you would of guessed God would have called on. She also referenced Noah as an example as well. The point she was saying was basically that just because George Bush is ignorant, and has no social skills, can barely speak, and can't stop blinking his eyes rapidly, that doesn't mean that he wasnt chosen for a purpose by God. But then again, she also believes the war is a religious mission!
