huh? You've heard of trades, right? What does having a contract have to do with anything?
he need to develop green, and i don't mean orien, with sound coaching and stop tryin to hodge podge the garbage, and jetison the good stuff, that produces.

the other night, green comes in 2nd quarter, and off picks, hits 2 straight beautiful looking jumpshots that no player in the league could dream of blocking, and instead of keeping green in while he's hot and feeding him the ball doc takes him out for the entire game ...
basically, the new york post is reporting that ainge is offering the farm for pau gasol.
BUT, with the new ownership taken over, west isn't allowed to make any moves until thats day, which they're saying is in mid december.
i'm cool with him coming to us, but i definitly wouldn't want to give up too much maybe jefferson theo tony allen and a pick or something at most
interesting. Ainge should be careful dealing with a shark like west. He probably knows that Pau is a little soft or something that Danny doesn't know. It's not the best analogy, but its like doing a deal with billy beane, you know he's smarter than you so you're probably getting screwed in the long run because he knows something you don't.
from what i've read, the grizzlies are more interested in aquiring pics than players, and the celts have like 2 first rounders, and 3 second rounders to play with
although i'm thinking we're a lottery team, so we should keep our pic for the oden/noah sweepstakes ... though ainge has gotten some gems in the second round too, but gasol is money if he can recovers 100%
and the Celts dont have a second 1st rd pick. it went to the Suns in that deal to get Rondo.

we have a pick from cleveland for welsch (which may or may not been the one we traded, i'm not sure), and another 1st round pick from minnesota but not until 2008 and i could have sworn we had another one
we also have a 2nd round pick from the warriors, i forget from which trade, and also from the suns for waltah
i don't think the gasol trade will happen either though, and i'm not sure i'd want it to, he's injury prone and hasn't done **** in the playoffs and i'd hate to see us trade away one of our young guns and watch them become a very solid role player, an all star, or a superstar (which i still believe is likely with green, jefferson, telfair, gomes, and west)
by the way, here's some of the ny post article from celticsblog.com
Peter Vecsey is reporting:
Ainge has offered anybody and everybody for Pau Gasol and anyone else the Grizzlies want to discard in the deal to make it happen.
He goes on to report that no deal can be made while the Griz are still in ownership limbo.
By all accounts, VP Jerry West is forbidden to make a trade no matter how insignificant (or change coaches) until the new group is either approved or disapproved in mid-December, maybe later.
