seeming like a creep.. its always awkward as hell to me when you sitting next to someone say in a lab or some sort of place with computers or something..cuz you dont want to keep turning around looking at them to get their attention and you dont want to say something about what they're browsing on the computer cuz then you would be this lab creep who stares at peoples computer..

honestly, i don't think every place is appropriate to talk to a stranger. that's one step away from hollering at a chick at church during te service.
my advice would be to just make eyecontact ,slightly smile and see how she reacts. if she smiles back atleast next time you see her you can say hi or whatever.
the way i see it, yeah you might never see her again but if you just do what i said
the probability of seeing her again and her accepting your advances is like 30% (if you two go to the same school, she'll take down her guard a little bit cause you're a familiar face)
if you just step to her right away, you got a 10% chance (and 90 percent of that depends on how she feels at that particular time)
