BREAKING THE BAD NEWS TO SOMEONE THAT THEIR BROTHER/SON IS DEAD (just happened to me)

man i feel like a police officer right now...like i had to address someone at their doorstep n tell them their baby has been gunned down...

so this lady behind me gets a phone call...n she gets real hysterical saying "OH MY GOD! NO NO NO!!!"...so she finally got off the phone n said "My mom just called n said she thinks my brother (E.J.) got killed" and she's cryin n stuff right? then she calls up to Youngstown (ohio) to ask some of her cousins n stuff up there if they've seen the news cuz she needs it verified. but they said "nah it wasnt E.J. it was Eric" and she then has a breath of relief n calms down n says she feels a lil beter cuz EJ is her lil brother but Eric is her cousin...then she makes a few more calls back n forth to some ppl but they all giving diff answers as to who it was....i dont know why they didnt know who had actually died...i mean it is family.

so by this point she saying she dont know exactly who got murdered but she knows it wass either her brother or cousin but she tryin not to over react...n its like an hour later...so she asks me to help her search the internet...well i showed her one site on her computer n she said "that's his house!!!" and started crying...but she still couldnt find a name....so i got to my desk n loooked at a few more sites n BOOM i found it...so i emailed it over and told her to open it to read the article so she could verify the name...and BOOM! she reads the 1st sentance n screams....out of all her family...it took a total stragner to tell her/mom that her/mom brother/son had been shot up n killed...

crazy part was she was here at work for an hour calling around out of town trying to get the verdict n her mood was going from hysterically sad to relieved back n forth thinkin it was her brother then it wasnt her brother..

and nobody out of all that family knew for sure....up until i told them.

Now that's crazy...

I remember when I first found out that my sister was going to pass...I tried to go to work the next day...bad decision...I worked in a call center too and I almost broke down over the phone several times...finding out that she wasn't going to make it was probably the hardest part...by the time she passed, I was prepared...but i'd imagine having them die unexpectedly would be worse...she should be home...or maybe they wasn't that close.

supposedly they were close....i dunno...but she just told me they doin a murder investigation n wont release the body...

she also said "MY FAMILY THANKS YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID YESTERDAY..."
