Don't try to lump everyone into the same basket. There are black people (and not just those living in the suburbs around white poeple) who've committed suicide before and sadly more will after this. A lot of poeple face different pressures and stress. I've never contemplated suicide, but different people react in different situations to stress.

Still, black people are very much susceptible to suicide. I remember seeing a story in USA Today a few years ago talking about the "myth" that black people don't commit suicide. It is a myth because black folks face pressure and stress just like white people do. Perhaps we're told we "shouldn't" do that. But the fact remains that black people are very capable of ending their own lives.

tony dungy son killed himself.and there is a video on the net of a young black kid commiting suicide in a bronx project hallway after breaking up with his girl. so there you got 2 black kids from different worlds commiting suicide
