what's with parents and this? i haven't lived at home for over 8 years and i always figured it would kind of die down the older i get but moms still hit me with that "i got to make an appointment to talk to my own son?"

lol...mine calls every Sunday to give me her "I'm so proud of you" soliloquy and then fill me in on the things she's doing in the community, and the status of the school year, and how she feels about the new principal, etc...

I don't even think it's that deep. I just think that I have too much respect for a relationship to fuck it up by doing something stupid (at least I hope I act that way if the situation ever presents itself). I'm not trying to show up on Jerry or Maury.
