i like how diddy steals credit from cassie and that dude who supports her
if it wasnt for myspace and the internet and that dude tha song woulda probaly been no where with out that support
exactly...i even noticed this in the picture diddy took with cassie...
He doesnt have the number 1 and 2 singles, but I have to give him props for reinventing bad boy and making 2 of the biggest songs of the summer, while ruff ryders, death row, rocafella, etc are doing nothing. Bad boy might not be running things, but there still relevant. "10 years from now we'll still be on top"
Question about that Jung Joc cd... Does it feel like a Badboy album? Or did Diddy just happen to put this guy out without indoctrinating him?
It definately felt like Diddy had some input, but it wasn't too forced. Diddy only appears on one cut and that's his little talking at the beginning of It's Goin Down.
Anyone listen to the interview...he claims to have #1 and #2 songs in the country....I dont know if thats only HIPHOP or RNB or what...Even the BET staff told him he had #1 and 2 songs in the country...BET staff is not credible source of info?
Secondly, he said Badboy is the only label left standing everyone done sold their label....
Now they're reinventing their fanbase...starting from scratch and u cant compare them to their 93-2005 cause thats the old era....Its starting from scratch...They going to be here for a long time stating this year from scratch 2006...
radioplay wise diddy is completely correct (http://blogs.usatoday.com/listenup/2...bat.html#more). But who cares, basically what we have on our hands are two 'hot' badboy joints. the same two we get every year from the bad boy camp. They love to turn out gold 1 hit wonders.

Murder inc---Not doing nothing...Ja could make a comeback, same as Ashanti but labelwise thats all they got...
Roca-fella---The break up with Dame and Jay killed the team....but The roc is still putting out decent albums from multiple genres...They still doing things but not as popular or big...
Ruff Ryders, Death Row, Cash Money- Its a wrap they're finished as labels...
Aftermath---They have good rap releases in Game, Busta, but thats it...no RnB, Pop, and the speed they put out albums isnt quick...Their roster is talented though...
G-Unit---They still dropping records but I feel the decline...They will continue to release material but peeps are catching on and even getting bored of the GGGG-unit...
Badboy since 93.......None of the other labels been in the game for 13 years and survived....Aftermath, The Roc and G-Unit all started later.....
The edge that Puff has is he's done the rebuilding phase, not its back to square one, others dont know how to do that, expand or diversify to be able to have longevity in the game....they dont penetrate the markets and therefore are starting to slide...

cassie & ryan leslie were going to blow anyway... diddy just hopped on the bandwagon and gave em a lil money for extra promo and distribution
same thing with young joc & bloc ent.. they were already on the verge of blowing up..
diddy annoys the fukk outta me son.. he doesn't rap.. he doesn't make beats.. he doesn't write for anyone... yet he's so fukkin cocky and takes credit for everything
