i couldnt even tell what causes my interest... all the different aspects... started listening to it when i was mad young, starting doing graff when i was young, just bought some turntables (so now i look forward to diggin in the crates, and pretending i know how to spin), how its poetic (basically why i dont listen to any of the newer shiit... lacks talent/creativity/the drive the artists had...

i need to step up my oldschool hip hop movie collection...

So true. What happend to the art of story telling. Not bragging. But telling a story about your hood, what you went through or what you saw. I started listening when i was young as well. My first tape i bought was LL "Bad". But i was listening to hip hop before then. I remember my sister playing Whodini and Roxanne Shaunte. Thats what i loved about it. Those times.....

yup... and not even rhyming about living the gritty life, but just random ass stories about what you did on saturday, chillin with the homies and loungin in the park of some bs... i dont even remember what i bought first, i used to record shiit off the radio though... how old are you? it seems like everyone thats alil bit older than all these lil kids feel the same way (about the music falling off and not staying true to the real meaning of hiphop, and what it rooted from)

respect your elders children.

hmm... ok, well my incredible logical mind tells me that it wasnt the 90s (jailbait), so you are a minimum of 26?

im a fan of older women by the way. they say the like to corrupt younger guys. this is all something you should think of... i always have this discussion with my boys, that we all want a good looking older lady to show us a thing or two. i believe around 30 is the sexual prime for an average woman.

unless you really are jailbait... then you will have to call me in a couple years.

so word, pm me some pictures of some of the crazy teddies and garter belts youve collected over the years...

duece tres. i really only got into djing recently (i always wanted too, but it was expensive...) my boy bought tables on a whim that hed get nasty real quick, and gave up on them, so i scooped em up for cheap... im not good by any means, but ill get some people moving (just about as good as a basic dj at a club that doesnt scratch much, or blend much, just can fade alil bit) im starting to attempt a lil routine, and tryin to learn how to beatmatch more, but you i have to basically rewire my brain to hear everything thats going on (not easy) before i got these tables i messed with cd tables at this bar/club i used to promote for, and it was pretty easy (but i always felt it was cheating... if i could do it without any experience, its not tough to do) so for the past couple months ive been going on vinly binges and have been trying to get my collection bigger... ive always been into the other elements of hip hop (been doing graff for more than half my life) and i know i turn you on, just admit it already.
