old, crusty cave ho interviews young & nubile pasty cave ho
MY INTERVIEW WITH BABY BRIT...
me: hey lil sis.. thanks for taking the time to do an interview avec moi. ready to hop your hot seat onto the hot seat?
brit : definitely...i've been so excited
me: how old are you, where are you attending school, and what is your major?
brit : I'm 18, going to school at New York University, majoring in theater...but techinically right now i'm "undecided"
me: how did you come across SOHH? and what made you decide to start posting more often than you did initially (which was pretty seldom)?
brit : A friend sent me a link to a hip hop related story on the SOHH.com main page. So from then on I went to the site to read about hip hop news. One day I decided to explore and came across the "My Click" button and found a forum. I didn't post much in the beginning probably just cuz I didn't know anyone and didn't have as much time. Now that I'm in the computer lab a lot between classes, I have plenty of idle time to post.
me: so you are very into hip-hop, then. list a few albums (not limited to hip-hop) that are personal classics of yours, or have been influential to you in some way.
brit : Common's "Be", 2Pac "All Eyes On Me", Jay-Z "Hard Knock Life" and "Blueprint 2" and even the "Black Album", and last but not least, Kanye West's "College Dropout"....
me: here's the big question, though. nas or jay? while we're at it, aniston or jolie? and make sure you say why.
brit : Nas or Jay....I've always been torn. They both have said such poerful lines. I gotta go with Jay due to consistency. Nas fell off during that Nastradamus era...(sorry to upset u, femme...lol)....Aniston or Jolie? Jolie definitely. I wouldn't even be that upset if she stole my man...she like the sexiest woman on earth.
me: it's all good. i'm a nas stan on SOHH, but i'm a huge fan of both him and jay. jolie is the sexier of the 2 women, for sure. i just had to pit them against one another because that's what the superficial media is doing. switching topics -- i know that you were adopted, and that your family is somewhat atypical by common standards. can you brief us on your upbringing? you don't have to get too personal of course, i don't want to seem intrusive.. a detailed family tree with scanned copies of your adoption papers and a family photo will be sufficient.
brit : LOL! yeah i swear they could make a reality TV show on my family. My father is white and got married to a white woman right out of high school and they had my older sister. They divorced like 2 years after my sister was born and my father went back to school and ended up going to Howard University for grad school where he met my mother who is black woman. They got married, tried to have children...after several miscarriages they decided to adopt my brother when he was an infant. He is black and they adopted me when I was almost 4 after being my foster parents for almost a year. My natural mother gave me up at age 3 after not being able to handle the fact that I was severely hard of hearing. She was young. Had me at a young age that I'm not even sure of exactly.
me: wow, so the primary reason she gave you up for adoption was your hearing impairment? have you ever met your mother? since you were adopted, i mean..?
brit : Yes...she couldn't handle the hearing loss (which ended up not being that bad once i learned sign language and how to read lips...and then I ended up getting surgery to almost completely repair my hearing). I haven't met since being adopted and I don't think I want to
me: it's dope that you were able to get that surgery.. i recall seeing you post about your hearing problems and the surgery before.. and i know that music is very important to you because of the impairment you suffered through. tell me about 1 time in your life where you were met with social adversity as it related to your "eccentric" family.
brit : well i was home schooled up until college so I was kept from a lot of social environments. parents were trying really hard to "protect me". But I had some neighborhood friends and when they would introduce me to their friends from school I had to hear some racist comments that they figured I wouldn't have a problem with. One time I was riding in the car with my friend Breeyn and her friend Tina from school...it was dark and we're just riding around town and a car that was next to us started following us. There were two black guys in the car and we couldn't see who they were but the girl Tina starts acting all scared and she starts to duck her head and yell "drive by!" and starts saying stuff about how they were gonna car jack us and stuff. I'm just shaking my head and telling her to chill out. so at another light the car pulls along side us and I can see the driver trying to look to see who we were. So i roll the window down and Tina starts screaming...and come to find out it's my brother and his best friend. He wanted to tell us that Tina's brake light was out.. little racist comments and reactions were what really pissed me off growing up
me: "black people at night!! DRIVEBY!!" .. that type of ignorance is very difficult to deal with.. switching it up abruptly again -- you've stated before that you are bisexual, and you seem very comfortable and resolved in being so for such a young age. at what point/age did you realize that you were physically attracted to women? was it before/after/at the same time you began feeling attraction to males?
brit : Secretly, I've been bi all my life. I remember being in pre-school kissing boys and girls. Just a confused child. Could be some psychological reason for it...who knows. I didn't come out with it until I was about 16 after befriending an extremely liberal lesbian who told me that there was nothing wrong with being who I am. I still love my men just as much. I just don't discriminate against the sexes.
me: do your parents know about your bi-sexualism if so, how do they feel about it?
brit : they don't know. my brother and sister know. My father is an over protective type, my mother is a perfectionist type...so i don't imagine them reacting very well to it. They would just try to talk me out of it. If I get into a serious relationship with a female...then I'd have to tell them.
me: do you attribute your sexual preferences to your off-kilter and untradtional upbringing in any way?
brit : eh...not really. there's no apparent reason for it....except maybe being closed up. over protected, maybe
me: okay, now i have to ask -- which SOHH females would you most like to get it on with? gimme like 2 or 3 names. and then do the same for the males, name a couple you'd like to get twisted out by.
brit : Wutacutie...I told her. I don't know why the dudes say she's ugly...she's gorgeous and cool as fukk. Santana....looks like a supermodel. thischic....she had a newly revealed picture....she's also very cute... guys, U Don't KNow Me...he's only 17 but he's really cute. MrNaMean...I've told him. He is so sexy even though he's only an inch taller than me. there's a few other cute ones....Smash is really cute...too bad he's an asshole
me: wuta is hilarious.. santana is unbelievably attractive.. but now then.. let's just get this question over with, because many people in TLR will want to know, regardless of whether they are interested in you in any way, shape, or form.. DO YOU DATE BLACK GUYS YOU PASTY YOUNG HUSSY?
brit : lol. yes....i don't discriminate when it comes to race and who I am dating. my current boyfriend is black.
me: have you ever been involved in a 3-some, or moresome perhaps? if so, a few details for the perverse hooligans on the boards?
brit : I've been in a few threesomes. i did one with my best male friend and his girlfriend...which left us all in an awkward position. Others were with friends. details...hmm...most ask what I do. and to put it shortly i do it all. i eat, i use toys....i don't believe in non-participaters.
me: i salute your sexual open-mindedness. give me a detailed example of a sexual fantasy of yours.. i swear this is for the pervs in TLR, brit.. i'm not getting off on this. no really. you gotta believe me. *pops fresh batteries out of package* *rubs hands together* (kidding.. really)
brit : lol.. hmm...well i've always wanted to have sex in a very public place. I kinda like being watched a bit. I'm an attention whore. Of course I don't want to get caught and go to jail either. i'd like to go to one of those swinger retreats and do it.
me: i was propositioned to go to a swingers joint by a close friend/fukk buddy before.. i gotta say, i was mad intrigued. brit, how do you feel about the fact that many folks still think you're not for real, i.e. an alias?
brit : it used to bother me a whole lot....but now I think it's kinda funny. I'm supposed to be getting this digital camera for Xmas. But I'm thinking I might just send pics to my close friends and leave the mystery for the other folks who never believed me (BPK, Digitalfoe, Smash). They probably know I'll give you one....so just deny deny deny when they ask you.
me: lol, aight. i'll tell them you have a remarkable penis if asked. do you drink or do any drugs? recreationally, or regularly? regularly not implying an addiction, of course.
brit : I drink regularly, smoke weed socially, smoke a cigarette or cigar every once in a blue moon. even the drinking is limited to weekends...unless it's summer
me: that's a good thing. do you read? if so, name a couple of your favorite books.
brit : I read. "Bling" was the last book I read....author is slipping my mind. The "Dutch" Trilogy by Teri Woods....well there's only 2 so far but they were really good. I like book about people getting rich....and the problems it causes. More money more problems type books.
me: are you familiar with Venus swimwear? do you realize that you could easily pose for that catalogue because you're EXACTLY the type of model they seem to love?
brit : no I've never heard of them....but I just might look into that. I had given up on the modelling thing because of school and my writing but it would be cool to model for something like that.
me: i'll get you a link to the venus site, then. tell me about one of the foulest things anyone has ever done to you, and about the foulest thing you've ever done to another person.
brit : hmm...the foulest thing...my boyfriend from my high school years was a year older than me and went away to california for college...and right ater winter break he became very distant. Come to find out he was cheating on me with a girl from his school who just so happened to go to the same school as he did. Cheating itself is foul. I can't think of any foul things I've done. Other than give a girl deodorant for Christmas...she needed it.
me: LOL! HAHAHAHA.. she was stank, huh. would you say that you suffer from "bleeding heart syndrome"? i think you have a very gentle soul and a kind heart from what i've read.. do you do any volunteering of any kind?
brit : over the summer I used to volunteer at a libraries, churches, and schools as a Sign Language Translator. I also lifeguard...though I'm saving lives, I do get paid for it.
me: i remember a long while back, you mentioned that your mother chides you whenever you want to eat fattening food/fast food. i also recall that making me feel a little sad, because you're so slight as it is, and the pressure from a parental figure to stay slim is often a huge catalyst in eating disorders. do you find it hard to keep away from those foods now that you're on your own and your mother isn't around to scold?
brit : my favorite foods are pizza and cheese steak subs...and i am surrounded by these up here. If I was living in a dorm, I know I wouldn't gained like 20 pounds...but I live with my aunt and she cooks good meals almost everyday so she helps balance me out with healthy food. But if she saw how much I eat pizza up here, she'd have something to say. I still exercise. I have gained some weight but not a lot. She hasn't noticed yet.
me: if you could meet up and hang out with 5 SOHH members and kick it on a saturday night, which 5 would you select, and why?
brit : um....you (love the energy, the hip hop knowledge, the humor), wuta (humor, the attitude, the shoe collection), VAmami (the positivity), Santana (the brutal honesty), Tigolbitties (humor and sexual liberation) .... funny no guys mentioned.
me: OKAY... we are almost done here.. indulge me in a brief word association exchange, will you?
brit : sure
me: peaches
brit : cream
me: asphalt
brit : run
me: ginnal
brit : bitter
me: race
brit : win
me: cigar
brit : brown smoke
me: rettas
brit : breasts
me: thick
brit : perfect
me: jaguar
brit : wright
me: FREE! next word - candle
brit : romantic
me: velvet
brit : rope
me: topaz
brit : depressed
me: LOL.. good sh*t! and this concludes the interview, brittastica. we've had conversation for DAYS, we shot philosphy like a GUN.. do you have any final shouts, f#ck-you's, or words of wisdom for SOHH?
brit : Shouts to my Get Em Girls...you helped me feel like I "BELONGED". Fukk the haters! I mentioned you earlier. Wisdom: stop deliberately hurting people's feelings to better your own self esteem.. Special shout to my e-Big Sis for honoring me with an interview!
*overlooks the fact that my name was not positively mentioned*
[***Damn Red X, where is your interview...Brit is trying to gain "Rookie of the year" with this.***]

whew, thank you. the ridiculous amount of time i spent on it is now somewhat validated.
...Props on the title as well. Brit seems consistant in her responses to the point that would lead you to believe her and Smash are not the same person. (LOL) Unless you caught Smash on one of his sober days, then he could probably remember all that.
* Doesn't know Smash well enough to know if he is ever sober*
...nevermind.
...Peace to ya!
