Your probably getting your minerals (major anyways) in your diet and multi vitamin. The top ones are: Magnesium, Manganese, Zinc, Chromium (and Picolinate), Boron, Iron (not too much though), Selenium, Calcium, and Potassium.

A solid Multi-vitamin should contain them already, but further supplementation is possible.

Minerals don't really DO much; they just maintain and support your bodily functions. Certain minerals such as the ones I listed above do have certain effects though.

Zinc for example strengthens your Immume System and is a main ingredient in the strength booster ZMA.

Potassium helps kick sodium out your system and provides energy for endurance and also effects the actual contraction of your muscles, and can even lower blood pressure.

Chromium Picolinate is an underated fat burner that helps retain muscle mass during a cut and reduces actual bodyfat.

If you think your lacking try picking up either a solid multi-vitamin (I take Universal Animal Pak) or add some trace mineral drops to your current multi.
