Let's be real (pt. 2). Just Blaze is overall a much better producer than Kanye West.
The two of them pretty much blew up when Jay used their beats on The Dynasty, but more noticably on The Blueprint. They have since laced a variety of artists with beats. But when you analyze their careers, I think Just Blaze has the better discography/resumé.
I'm not sayin Kanye isn't nice, I mean he got a line of classics. But Just Blaze just has a more versatile sound. Kanye stuck with that same sound for a while and I felt like Late Registration was really the first batch of fresh shyt he had dropped in a while. Just Blaze stays switchin it up with the sound and can hardly get boring.

Hell yeah man. Kanye is great, no one get me wrong. But he is repetitive in his sound. Just Blaze is definitely better than Kanye when it comes to production.

Yeah I guess you can use the term overrated. Then again, not that many peope consider him the G.O.A.T. or anything.
I think a better way to put it is that Just Blaze is "UNDER-RATED" cause Kanye gets more recognition than he does when the truth is Just Blaze is better.

I disagree with this man.
Songs like Dear Summer, Song Cry, I Really Mean It and Dec. 4th can hang in there with a Kanye beat
What the rapper chooses to do with the beat is not the producer's fault. But Blaze's sound comes in variety. Kanye's really sticks to the same core. JB could make beats for Alicia Keys and Common, AND HE DID make a beat for Kanye. If guys like Kanye are going to him for a beat, what makes you think he can't make songs for R&B artists or conscious rappers.

Do you still disagree?
yeah, Im sayin kanye got him so far overall
but theyre neck & neck
kanye has been consistently dropping ish, hot ish
like that new consequence with mike jones
and justblaze's last hot beat was dear summer and before that?
psa remix probably
i think just blaze is more versitile and can pretty much lace anybody with a beat. even though kanye is dope, he does the soul samples a little to much. even though the soul samples is his signature, its just repeated to often. blaze juss got a catalog not to many can touch...
