WTF!?!?! moment #1:

Watchin' Yo! MTV Raps and they played this video by The Jungle Brothers.
'I'll House You' song and video didn't belong on Yo!

Back then, in the Chi, House music was HUGE. They had a movement called Hip-House. This kid had the nerve to tell me that hip-house created hip-hop. This Chi-town hip-house artist had a diss track to KRS-1. All the clubs would play house music. BLAH!

Looking back, I didn't want my peanut butter and chocolate to mix. But, I gotta admit, "I'll House You" (song and video) is great.


Ya'll have a WTF!?!?! moment?

Man, whenever Yo! played that Neneh Cherry 'Buffalo Stance' or them Wee papa Girls crap I always changed the channel.

Actually, some of that Hip-House wasn't bad...Chill Rob G's "Make It" remix.., Roxanne Shante's "Live On Stage", T La Rock's "Housin' With The T", Monie Love's "Monie In The Middle"..De La's "Say No Go" and "Eye Know"...that cat Doug Lazy with "H.O.U.S.E.", "Let It Roll"...Even Soul II Soul did a couple of House remixes for "Joy" feat. Richie Stephens and "Watching You"...
