I got a few joints, but seriously, don't use the word "old school" loosely. Bell Biv Devoe and ABC are far from "old school".

The tracks you don't know are

Digable Planets - Nicklebag of Funk
Diamond - Sally Got a 1 Track mind

Thats actually a pretty decent cd, but its still not old school. Old School is early 80s.

I got one my boy just made, listening to it now for the first time, it has Dana Dane, Audio Two, Eric B & Rakim, PE, EPMD, Three Times Dope, Slick Rick, Nice & Smooth

should I go on? there are a few "newer" tracks, De La, ATCQ, Cypress Hill, Onyx(?!)... but mostly old school in the truer sense of old school, he called the mix "School Yard Classics 87-93"

I also have an Ego Trip old school compilation

http://oldschoolhiphop.forumco.com/t...C_ID~10437.asp

Here's some ill a$$ Mr Magic shows that somebody posted at oldschoolhiphop.com.

Mr Magic was the radio announcer for Marley Marl on WBLS from like 84-89. His show was called "Mr Magic's Rap Attack".

Then Pete Rock took over. Pete Rock and Marley Marl had a show called In Control and they would have people freestyling. I'm still looking for the Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap In Control freestyle circa 1989. I heard that Kool G Rap absolutely murdered Kane .

The mp3 is of the Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap In Control freestyle is out there somewhere. $50 (in internet money) for the first person to upload it.

http://www.oldschoolhiphop.com/liveshows.htm

And here are some early Hip Hop Shows. There is a Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5 show from 12/28/1978 (9 months before rappers Delight was released)

Also

Funky 4+1 show from 1980
Cold Crush Brothers Harlem World 1982
Dougie Fresh and Slick Rick 1985
Africa bambaataa Live 1982

^^^^These shows range from 15 minutes to 60 minutes. But these shows are always up, personally, I'd download the Red Alert, Mr Magic shows from 2 posts up, those will be gone in a few days.

Sup 5 Grand, I see your trying to teach some people on this board about the real "old school" , good luck lol. Lol @ Bell Biv Devoe being "Old School". I'm looking at your signature, talking about people being ignorant on the old school, the most ignorant statement I ever seen was a thread on another forum called "hip-hop quotables" and someone typed " Don't push me, I'm close to the edge, I'm trying not to loose my head" - C Murder , that killed me.

5 Grand, you ever heard the rare version of "Raw" by BDK and Kool G? I got that somewhere if you want it. I have a mp3 of Biz and BDK live as well, if you want that, he freestyles some verses of Ain't No Half Steppin, if I remember correctly. About that BDK Freestyle, I'll ask the forum later, Tyrant might have it.
