Prophecy
**** Midas touch, my words hit depths of God’s breath
to reanimate the dust settled on the ledge
I know, growth stunted from a world frontin’
to not see solar flares, so I run in stuntin’
my shine bioluminescent, yet not quite
ever-present essence set to supplant night
with an unseen new day, my ray bisects heaven
so God can have his space and me & my brethren
can build without that creator peer-pressure
cater to pleasure like our lives measured
by the tips, and some serving higher powers
find themselves lowered in what the hours
painted right at the time, brushstroke, a fine line
not how I’d design mine, then again, the blind mind
might see existence in totality, my malady masked in health
skin cancer caught by those who bask in wealth
bronze god & goddesses, adonises, reflection idolatry
on some “**** the world” ‘til the globe acknowledge me
the absent father, offering no child support
and since I appoint justice to the universal court
the bias admitted, but the charges copped to as well
so, come forth children, I got a story to tell
just a lil’ fable on how some turntables
could change a globe and not even enable
it’s creators credit, watch as I edit
and excise the corporate machine that fed it
to reclaim unrefined crude earth blood others find
unfit for fueling anything, but with our souls it brings
internal combustion and old guard destruction
and the next **** seduction of a Malcolm X production
carried to term, standing firm as Orion’s reflection
in Egypt, equipped to determine your direction
I’m the shine you adjust your sextant to
the insurer invested to see the destined due
