Official Electronic Music Thread
This was a good thread imo haha.
EDITED Friday 2/23/2007
I eas looking for House/Freestyle. Those styles seem to be returning in urban music. Trance is still cool too. Anymore more House/Freestyle? Any hip Hop and R and B mixes/mash ups to dance music?
We have have to skip to page 2 and start all over if the links are dead already

Drum N Bass is the best genre of electronic music i think, plenty of suggestions for beginners...
Plug-Drum n Bass for Papa
Goldie-Timeless, Saturnz Return
u-ziq- Royal Astronomy
Photek-Modus Operandi
house has been broken down into numerous sub-genres, i like 2-step the most. Olav Basorski is a name to look for

we are both talking about DJ Krush the Japanese cat right?
I dont see how it is anything but Hip Hop, his whole backround (Krush Posse etc) style is Hip Hop, maybe not contemporary Hip Hop as we know it but it is what it is. An Album like 'Meiso' is one of the nicest Hip Hop lp's ever imo.

there is no doubt whatsoever that Krush is hiphop, the suggestion he is anything otherwise is ludicrous
try getting some nu breaks stuff like Koma & Bones
Warp is also a quality label, you can buy nearly anything on it and be satisfied I find
