Default When a Rose Dies

First off I want to send an appreciation for Rukus's piece "Why dont you call me" I related to that heavily mane.

HEre's a little self-therapy from me

Days go by
As the pressure in my head builds
Ignoring the fact, it’s just that- I miss you
I start brainstorming of track
My train of thought is full of steam, full of speed-
Once again my selfish I’s are,
Getting ready to make a fool of me
Now I see, why
You see me only doing me

Weeks go by
As do the seasons
I no longer hear the birds
Just the sound of the wind wheezing
Tormenting the trees
As they watch their once beautiful displays of life
Leave them
I think of you- my beauty of natural makeup
That stood forever green, even-
In the most depressing, decaying displays
That left me with the reason,
To wonder
If anything out there’s still breathing

The cold bitter winter
Something I sub-concisely regretted
As I, took advantage of the summer’s warm blanket
Your blanket of warmth I embedded
And if said, you where to never leave I would believe
Because you said it
A promise is comfort to a fool
So I’m stricken with fear of my own self-neglect, yet
Shamed, how I was up when the sun rose
But never watch as it-
Set

Because when a rose dies
Its once beautiful pedals turn to coal,
As it cries
Wishing for the butterflies
That once danced in her beautiful marvel
And her soul denies
For her love born again
And this is how a rose cries
I know, for I watched her
so many times.... I've watched her

I wrote a poem with the same name a while ago because of my relationship problems at the time did you ever peep that. It was entitled "When a rose diez" just seems a bit strange...

"A promise is a comfort to a fool".....I've been living by that quote for a while now.

This is an ill piece. I enjoyed reading.
