Is Gold Decoupling From the Dollar's Movements?

Strange thing is happening right now. . . Gold is up quite a few bucks, and the dollar index is also up by a substantial amount. While days like this have occurred this year in the markets today seems to be the most drastic. Usually when gold is up the dollar is down, if today's movements are any indicator of what's to come then gold is really about to take off, and a decoupling would mean the dollar is very, very much dead. . . We'll see. . .

The small gain the dollar makes are not going to to change the fact that gold is going up. The dollar is in trouble and gold is the safest place. His visit with China made this all to clear. People talk all that sh*t about China having no power Yet they are in a position to call the shot on monetary policies.
The only decoupling I see is other countries trying to get out of dollars
