i noticed these were coming back into style heavily. not like the folks from the era when they were originally popular but with young folks now.

i was stocking up on the canvas Polo's for next summer last month and noticed the youngstas where copping 2 and 3 pairs of chucks at a time.

i guess i didn't even realize it was a fad. i've pretty much always had at least one pair of chucks on hand, even since i was young kid. always some neutral color like black, white, or navy. they're just mad easy to pull off with different levels of dress. and i pretty much hate the unnecessarilly large collection of other "kicks" i've built up over the past 5-7 years or so. but what do i know? i've become out of touch with fashion trends in my later age.
