Default How yall feel about prada/gucci/mauri sneakers?

I made a similar thread like this in the Spot...this how I feel bout them
Mauris: I was rockin these between like 02-06..i kind of retired them because everybody and they mama had a pair..i think i gave a pair away to my younger cousin, who's 19
Prada: Before people jumped on the bandwagon, I had a blue/grey pair back in like 04..I copped another pair (red/grey) last year..i see more people wearing them now..a female friend of mine, who's a store manager at neiman marcus, got me the crocodile red/grey pair (that cost damn near a G) last month..so im a rock those in the summer time
Gucci: dudes been rockin gucci sneakers since the 80's..i got my first pair of gucci sneakers like around 10 years ago..since then ive been hook
Now take into account that I have a substantial job and own a house in the suburbs..I left the hood a minute ago, so buying a pair of any of these sneakers wont hurt my wallet..plus my dudes, if u can cop a pair of gucci/pradas/mauris and dont have enough to pay ur rent, then thats assbackwards and u should know better..But wat are ya'll thoughts

Not my cup of tea but to each their own. When I hear prada, I think of women's purses. The only thing gucci a man should wear are dress shoes/loafers. When it comes to Mauri, I only associate alligator shoes with them.

well to each its own..people have different taste and thats to be respected..its a NY/NJ thing I suppose..For the most part, dudes rock prada/gucci/mauri sneakers out to the clubs..those are considered to be dress sneakers and if u goin to a nice sophisticated club, especially in the tri state area, u cant rock regular sneakers..so thats one of the reasons why we rock them..but as I said before, to each its own

prada world cups are ugly as hell...the all black ones are OK but i wouldn't wear em. Now i'm a loafer guy so there are some hot Prada and Gucci loafers...

Never really felt any of the gucci sneakers...way too tacky...the gucci slip ons are cool though

Not my thing either I make my living a different way then you and I have no need for something like that. I only need sneakers for working out or chilling. I may cop a gucci outfit with the shoes to match if I can find a spot online to get em.

Not a fan of Gucci sneakers -- many are too ostentatious for my taste

I do wear Prada loafers and frames...thats about it

Is there anywhere online where I can shop to get these types of clothes? I'm not around anywhere that has a store I can just go in and buy stuff like this.
