Default Manual or Automatic? Which do you prefer?

I just recently learned how to drive a stick, now every time i drive my car, i feel like im in a retard buggy.

I prefer stick driving now for performance, but automatic when im texting or eating behind the wheel

I've had 7 vehicles, my latest is the 1st one with stick. I love it and prolly won't go back to auto-trans cars for a while. Manual for me puts the fun back into driving, plus gives you more control of the vehicle, plus depending on the vehicle it opens up a world of performance options. As far as multi-tasking and driving, I can eat or text message while driving, as long as I'm not in a traffic jam. Now I will admit that in a drive thru I do sometimes stall, its nothin that other stick drivers haven't done either...........

Manual

I can't imagine driving an auto unless it's a super high end luxury car.

Unless it's an exotic sports car, it's automatic all day because I'm lazy and highway traffic is horrible

well it seems Nissan has given up on the traditional manual with the new GTR. It has the manual mode and the pedal shifters on the steering wheel, but by default its a automatic...

Sad, IMO.

I think these sequential gearboxes are the new hotness, but they're killing the true sticks.

Come on man. I've had the same password on this account since like 2002. No chance I'll ever forget it! I'm just pissed because every time I come back, my av is gone.
