Caps button is next to the A. Unfortunately for you, screaming your points doesnt make them any more valid.
You can turn off the emotion button too because you're way too worked up over the simple facts that I listed. Here's a few more:
Iverson has never really understood how to win or be part of a successful basketball team. He knows one thing and that is to try to score as much as he can by shooting as much as he can, while neglecting defense, ball movement, teamwork, leadership, training, team morale, basketball IQ, and all the other qualities that separate the great ballplayers from the one-dimensional scorers. Iverson has always been tough and able to score (not efficiently though) among player much larger than himself. Naturally this led many people to describe him as tough, having a lot of heart, etc, and these things are true. That doesn't mean that all the other aforementioned qualities are not also true.
The irony is that you are more evidence of the damage Iverson unwittingly did to the game by making all of these negative qualities seem irrelevant, or even something to emulate. I get that you spent many years cheering for him in Philly so he'll always have a place in your heart, etc. But at the same time, look at the situation he's in now. Is it that of a hall of famer? A player that, according to himself, is still a star in the league so hell no he's not coming off the bench...and yet the SOLITARY team that pursued him in free agency has now agreed that its best they part ways before he ever played a minute in front of the hometown crowd.
How can you not see the truth staring you in the face?
Exaaaaactly. A lot of people fail to understand this. They only see the statistical part & the influence he had on fans back then, etc. The most positive thing A.I. has done for the game is generate more money through being a commodity, which he proclaimed himself as one years ago in Philly.

Dog, I've never been an A.I. fan, but at the rate we're going this season & Duhon especially...bring it on.
Since the season just started is it possible for his contract to be terminated on a mutual level...or does a buyout have to be involved? That would suck for Memphis, really...
shout-out to my n!gga AI.....my favorite athlete of all time....its over...yung had a great run tho....top 40 greatest of all-time...but the most important thing about fam is he do what the fukk he wanted to do.....
AI 'fukk the world, I do what the fukk I want attitude' >>>>>>>>>>>>>> any square's opinion to the contrary
any team put together of NBA all stars should never come home with a bronze medal.
i wanna agree with you, but it wasnt all that easy from this last team that won...those Euro boys be hooping...
and its about team chemistry in a short time

Ben Gordon would not even agree...light yrs ahead of Gordon
really?
Here are the stats for AIs MVP season
G GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG
00-01 PHI 71 71 42.0 0.420 0.320 0.814 0.7 3.1 3.8 4.6
SPG BPG TO PF PPG
2.5 0.3 3.34 2.10 31.1
Here are the stats from Ben Gordon's best season
G GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG
06-07 CHI 82 51 33.0 0.455 0.413 0.864 0.4 2.7 3.1 3.6
SPG BPG TO PF PPG
0.8 0.2 3.04 3.10 21.4
If you notice, Ben Gordon's numbers are over 33 minutes per game.. while AI played 9 more minutes. If Ben gets 9 more minutes a game, he averages 27 points per game. If he takes as much shots as AI, he gets over 31 ppg easily. BG also gets more assists per minute.
The only big difference that doesn't work in Ben Gordons favor is steals per game... AI got 2.5 steals per game. But anyone who knows basketball knows AIs steals numbers mean nothing, because he got those while playing the passing lanes and leaving his teammates out to dry on defense.
It's safe to say BG >>> "MVP" Iverson.

Dude is 35 years old and doing the same thing he did 15 years ago ,this isnt a surprise. He should have went to the Heat or something. If he was to walk away from the game today he would be labeled as a QUITTER.With that being said here are the teams he would go to.
Boston-Sheed,and Big 3 would keep him in check he would be the Gary Payton of the group.Who just hangs on for a ring.
Cleveland-Him and Lebron have same agent.Him&Shaq are good friends. This will work but Mike Brown wont last the season
Charlotte-He wont dare pull this on MJ&Ownership or whoever owns team.Old friend Larry Brown is there.Possible starting role.

uhhh you forgot 3 50 point playoff games and Phila rode his back to the finals....Ben Gordon (a player i like)? ...i understand what you guys are saying about this stuff with the team, but your taking it too far....
he was unstoppable in the league for yrs...the NBA and sportswriters said he was the MVP ..he played against the best the league had to offer and you have the nerve....he has played with his short stature and injuries his whole career and been successful...there are alot of people that would laugh at your comparison and point of view...volume or not he got the job done....
this isn't an abilty argument..were talking about the way this was handled by him

At this point in his career he can still produce but he needs to accept
the fact he's not the focal attention anymore. With his basketball knowledge
he could have been a mentor to those young cats but AI still thinks he's the focal
point. No team is going to build around a 35 year old dude with no ring. Sorry

A.I. could have another four to five years in the league as a starter if he completely switched his game and became a 'run the offense-pass first' point guard. But the days of him running around the entire court dribbling for 20 minutes then jacking up a shot are over with.
AI is having a early mid-life crisis. I just had a feeling that he had NOT changed when he grew back them cornrows. He still thinks its 2001. He's never been told NO and now that it is finally happening he has no idea what to do. He thought he could come to a team with a bunch of young players that he doesn't respect (no allstars or veterans) and live off his legend. He thought by default it would be his team and could take all the shots he wanted like the old days in Philly.
He means remember when AI cut his cornrows off and once he did it he claimed he would change into a better player and person.Ironically he came to Memphis and grew them back.
