Default p90X vs gym

I been going to the gym it's only $10 a month but i wanted to hear from people that are doing the p90X. Is it really getting you cut? Do you think I should cancel my gym account and do the p90x to get cut up first then go to the gym for strength? I was thinking about doing the ab ripper X + p90X nutrition guide and go to the gym for the rest. Anyone know which will give the best results? I need to drop about 10 pounds of fat and get a 6 pack. 5'8 191 but solid. Would like to drop to 180.

P90X will get you right, my mans did that joint and went from skinny to built in a matter of months. I do the Ab Ripper X joint, it's hell but you feel great when you get through it and I'm really starting to see results. I gotta be more consistent with it and if I am I should be good by the winter.

I got the p90x yesterday. I'm gonna start it on Monday because I want my off day to be sundays. If it works well I will do it for 180 days with the diet plan then after that I will start eating healthy 4 days a week and 3 days of whatever i want.

Its too boring and lengthy a workout for me to stick with it faithfully for longer than 3 weeks.

I say go to the gym, at least you're away from your house and its comfort zone.

stick with the gym along with the p90x as well, lift weights and get 'real' strength son.

What about just doing the abs portion? Can you see results with that? And if so, if you're only doing the abs, do you do it everyday?

Honestly, i felt the workout to be too long...I work night shifts, like really bad hours (12 hour shifts on average) so it's hard to put an hour a DAY for the P90X workout.

I'm actually gonna check out the 10 minute trainer from Tony Horton...downloaded it a while ago, haven't started. It'll be easier to manage 10 minutes a day, rather than an hour.

Real sore, I've learned to embrace the pain though. I can't ever raise my arms up and stretch though, feels like my whole midsection will tear to shreds.
