There's a lot of revisionist history going on in this thread. People are all of a sudden acting like A.I.'s ON COURT ability was in question all of these years, like he wasn't an MVP, at one point in time arguably the best player in the league, a consistent All-Star and multiple scoring champ. Hell, I don't even see where all of the hate even came from considering the fact he was pretty much the most popular player in the league in his prime.
Are people really trying to say Tim Hardaway was a bigger deal than Allen Iverson? Or that Iverson isn't a DEFINITE first ballot Hall-of-Famer?
And on some real shyt, if I was Iverson, I think I'd have a problem coming off of the bench for Mike Conley and O.J. Mayo as well.
Plus he had the hardest rap track by a basketball player ever.

Mike Conley...maybe but he can't be mad over not starting over O.J. Mayo. This n1gga put up 20+ points per game as a rookie and he's got a lot of promise. Not to mention they are building the franchise around him and Gay. Ain't no way A.I thought he was gonna start over him.
I'm thinking that perhaps the Grizzlies ain't really explain to him that he would not be a starter for their team either that or he's delusional.
