first off rose is injured right now, so i dont think its necessarily fair to criticize his play this year and to judge them anyways on this season based on three games is stupid, especially considering the bulls have played 3 of the best defensive teams from last season, including two of the top 5 with SA and Boston. other than shooting the ball from the outside, what else does gordon do better than rose?

handles? rose. passing? rose. ability to run an offense, and put teammates in position to succeed? rose. transition, fast break player? rose. they both get to the basket pretty well, but rose is an elite finisher for the PG spot. once rose starts to get more aggressive he'll prove to be the more efficient scorer too, hes gonna be a guy that can shoot around 50% and get to the line about 6 or 7 times a game with his driving ability and his ability to finish with contact. from what i read gordon was a pretty horrible mid range shooter last year too, and rose was actually surprising with his ability to hit that shot off the dribble.

rose struggled on defense last season, but he has all the physical abilities to be a great defender at the PG spot in the NBA. hes gonna be bigger and faster than almost all the PGs he ll see. gordon is a 6'3" SG, he is always going to be a liability on defense because of this, no matter what he does. hes in the ben gordon mold, not as great of a shooter, but better at getting to the hole. hes a real nice player but to say you would rather have him as your franchise guard is just plain stupid.

Yeah, I know you're a Bulls fan. You need to do your homework and watch both of these guys play to give a fair assessment. Just saying.

what the fukk is this sh*t? whats your analysis? at least i gave some reasons why..

yeah im a bulls fan, but im not some ridiculous stan who's sole purpose is to defend the bulls in any scenario or some sh*t.

rose is just simply the better player, plain and simple.

My point is that you're criticizing Gordon and then you say "from what I've read" in your analysis. I'm saying, if you haven't watched both guys play how can you, without a doubt, say Rose is better?

I have seen Gordon play plenty of times. I just referenced that I read and saw stats that showed his mid range game was horrible last year. I only said that for one point of reference. I still haven't seen anyone make a logical or statistical argument that explains why Gordon is a better player. Rose brings alot more to a team, I really dont see how you can argue otherwise.
