uh huh, money had distorted the league. suprised marcotti didnt mention that (cant remember where I saw/heard him talking about this). instead hes now part of the benitez PR machine.
rafa has lost the support of carragher and gerrard, they say. (the "non-gambling" types who like a chunk of the manager market). that surely means hes got 2-3 games left.
in my opinion he better not lose to lyon.
yeah, I heard Marcotti mention that several times (ive stopped listening to the Time podcast btw, lol) and its stunning how he can disregard the context in which Wenger's and Fergie's point totals were amassed... I used to think he was smarter than that...
then John Nicholson on f365 wrote a horrible article saying Rafa and Wenger are the same... they need to chill

We understand the institutional worries about the economy of European football, but in citing Inter he forgets that our club does not have debts with the banks.
so Inter does have debts... its owed to Moriatti... that was Platini's point I think

the f365 article was readable until the guy said torres was cheap. I mean, at least disguse it a bit.
liverpool would probably have a new stadium by now if they had a manager like wenger, with no lesser results. thats the difference.
Inter are not in debt with the banks. Inter, like many Italian teams have had a negative balance, but has always covered itself with capital made available by the club's owners.
this is what Platini said
Quote:
"By putting in new rules we will protect the business of Abramovich, Massimo Moratti [at Inter Milan] or Glazer. I am sure they want to sell but who will buy clubs with so many debts? Who would be that stupid?
if Moriatti were to sell Inter Milan tomorrow, im sure he would want to recoup his money...

Nice one. I noticed it was starting at 8 but Sky usually have an unnecessarily long build up accompanied by the undercard. Will be lolz if Haye gets the Holyfield treatment if it goes to points.
not many really care in the US... I think the fight will be on HBO during the day...
I don't blame them. I'll watch because im a boxing fan, but i expect it to be a complete train wreck of a fight. Haye popping off punches on the outside and moving while Valuev stalks him around the ring like a retard.
