To keep it funky i havent work out in a min. i jsust started back. the thing is you pace your self and do what you can. even then you still getting a good workout. Im goin to mix this in with my reg weights and cardio and goin to be good money. I felt good after finishin it tho. Hated it while doin it.
Well, I just got it. I glanced at the self-assessment test and I feel I should be able to handle this. I know I'ma have to work my ass off, but like you say, I gotta go at my own pace too.
Sunday will be Day 1 for me.

Just got done with Day 1: Chest and back, and Ab ripper x. Feelin pretty good. I would probly be feelin it more if I could do a pull-up (LOL), but it was still a good work out. And I couldn't keep up with the number of reps they did in ab ripper x either, but I'm sure with time I'll get better at both. Should be a good program.

Day 2 is in the can with Plyometrics done. It was a long, hard workout, but it was still good/fun.
If anyone is hesitating, this program does not seem as bad as people make it. Yeah, I'm a lil sore, but I feel good. I went for jogs after each of the first 2 days because I felt so good.
So, do it!!

Day 3 last night: I did Shoulders & Arms last night, then Ab Ripper X. I was nervous about shoulders and arms cuz my arms/chest was still a lil sore from Sunday's chest & back, but it turned out to great! A good workout and I'm not really too sore today at all (except for my calves are still sore from plyometrics on Monday). And I was happy to see that I could already do more reps and more of the ab ripper x already. I didn't expect to improve so soon, but it was definitely easier than the first night.
I'm loving this shiit!

Forget that. i say just do P90X and "do your best....forget the rest"
But for real, just do P90X and do what you can..over time you will get better, take less breaks...more reps, etc.

I REALLY am not in shape. I mean, I'm not fat, but I got a pretty decent beer belly and I don't have very much of any upper or lower body strength. I'm essentially starting from zero.
Basically, I took the self-assessment test that was in the book and was able to complete 6 out of 8 of the exercises so I said, fuuck it good enough, I'm doin it. I'm glad I am doing it. If you're committed to doing your best and eating decent, then I think you should see results. I'm pretty confident that I will see good results.
Anyway, Day 4: Yoga X. Damn! This one was long (an hour and a half) and was work. Some of the moves they do is crazy! Yoga ain't no joke. Went for a jog afterward. My calves are a lil better today, but still sore. Hopefully, I can do well tonight since it'll be legs and back.

I found this on the net for download, but my boy and his wife have been doing this besides their normal gym routines. They say its killing them.
I watched the abs, chest and back workout
It looked very intense for the hour or so and the ab workout look liked hell.
The only thing I dont like is that they expect people to have pullup bars and shyt laying aroung in their houses. My boy ordered one, you can use bands but you need something to affix them to, which is also a problem.

Just stick with it. I basically started from the same place you're at. I'm on week 5 now. The Plyo gets easier. By the time I was finished with phase 1, my recovery time for Plyo was a few minutes. The new workouts for week 5 throw you for a loop, though. I'm sore all over again, which is a good thing.
Ab ripper gets easier, too. I can do just about everything all 25 times except those got damn phipher scissors...

Yeah, I'm sticking with it. Day 11 today. I'm loving it actually and my soreness is not bad at all compared with last week. I'm actually adding in my own workouts in the morning aside from the program because I wanna progress faster.
