Someone educate about psp emulation. So, I heard I have to get a downgrader because one of the emulators don't work with my version. What steps do I have to take to get games running?

You put them on an SD card pop it into your PSP. You need an emulator or something though so google that.

no you need custom firmware. you probably will need a pandora's battery which is when you open the battery and cut the ground lead on the eeprom chip.

Fukk it, I'm just gonna try to cop the game at 30 dollars.

I really didn't want exodus's thread to be true, **** cutting up batteries and doing all this surgery and programing. Either way, I'm gonna have to buy a card that stores at least 2gb, but I think crisis core may be 1gb itself. I'm not saving money either way. Isn't there a commercial psp emulator for pc's? I think it's called pspemu or something? Can't I just dl that to my computer and get the game?

lol has a og psp uses custom firmware that took 3 seconds to do

its very easy to cut the ground pin on one chip. its easier than paying $30 for the game. it takes less than 5 minutes to cut the pin close the battery, install the files on the memory stick from your PC than put the stick in the PSP cut it on and press x. only thing is don't use anything metal to cut the pin if you can avoid it.

if you don't wanna do that you can buy the Datel service battery maker online for $20.

i'm playing it now and the graphics are nice but the combat is weird.

the game is wack so far, it makes an excellent movie but a pretty crappy game. the full extent of the gameplay is run around and tap a button. you don't need to even really block or dodge just heal with your health gets low and keep tapping x. i find myself wanting to get back to the cutscenes.

the gameplay was an afterthought. its all about the story. which i think is pretty good so far. im like 3 hrs deep.
