as stupid as that sounds, if you read the last year of captain america, ud kno ed brubaker has somehow managed to make bucky one of the most gangsta dudes in the marvel u. i've been pulling for him the entire time. besides, if anyone else tried to take cap's mantle, bucky would off 'em. this cap carries a gat.
if u can, find the last issue of captain america. aka, "when bionic appendages attack."

i never thought of that... but yeah, bucky is basically marvel's snake plissken. seducing russian spies, whupping unholy amounts of ass... sometimes while handcuffed... spot-on comparison. except for the remote-controllable adamantium arm, lol.

i like batman, but it's very love/hate right now. morrison's take on the character is extremely retro and borderline campy. i kno a lot of people who dont like it. plus, the rhas al ghul storyline sucked.
Dude is easily top five characters right now.

Messiah Complex was dope. I used to read the x-titles religously. I haven't been deep in the series since Age of Apocalpse. I've kept up on happeneings via wikipedia, and read some books here and there... but Messiah Complex was just dope. Really makes me want to step back in.

Brubaker is writing classics every month. Even with Cap dead, it's the best book in comics.
