OK, I'm going to make this the ultimate MF Doom post for new fans who want to hear his sh!t but don't know where to start. I have uploaded his 14 main albums into my filefront account, and put them in order here of what you should check out first to what you should check out last (with album descriptions and reasoning)

YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE FILE EXTENSION FROM .XTC TO .RAR EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER YOUR DOWNLOAD IN ORDER TO EXTRACT THE ALBUMS!!!!

1) MF Doom "MM..Food" -- Although this is probably only Doom's 3rd or 4th best album, it is the one that I recommend you should check out first because it is the easiest to digest for a new fan. It is a perfect introduction to his production style and every song is great.

2) MF Doom "Operation Doomsday" -- MF Doom's 1999 classic solo debut and probably his best solo album. Introduced the world to the sampling of 80's music and slowed down drunken flow that has become Doom's signature.

3)Madvillain "Madvillainy" -- The classic collab album between Madlib and Doom. The beats on this album are absolutely amazing and Doom comes creative with the song concepts and wordplay. This album is kind of hard to digest since it has such an original and fresh sound, but once you start to feel it you won't be able to put it down.

4) KMD "Black Bastards" -- Now that you've had a chance to check out some of Doom's solo albums, its time to go back to the early 90's and check out his work with his brother Subroc in the group KMD. This was their sophomore album, and it is possibly the best album Doom has ever been involved in. Unfortunately, a properly mastered version from the original master tapes has never been released so we may never see this album in its full glory.

5) Danger Doom "The Mouse And The Mask" -- Collab album between producer Danger Mouse and Doom on the rhymes. The theme of this album is based around the Adult Swim cartoon series, so there are a lot of jokes you make not understand unless you are a fan of it.

6) Viktor Vaughn "Vaudeville Villain" -- One of Doom's best works as an MC, but the beats are all done by outside producers and they aren't as good as most of his other solos.
Code:

7) KMD "Mr. Hood" -- The 1990 debut from Doom a.k.a. Zev Love X and his brother Subroc. If you like early Native Tongues and Brand Nubian, you will like this album.

8) King Geedorah "Take Me To Your Leader" -- Despite the fact that there are too many guests on this album and it can hardly be called a Doom solo album, this is very well produced and contains some gems.
Code:

9) Metal Fingers Presents "Special Herbs 9 + 0" -- This is the newest and my favorite of the Special Herbs beat series.
Code:
http://files.filefront.com/Herbs90xtc/;4303554;;/fileinfo.html
10) Metal Fingers Presents "Special Herbs 4, 5, & 6" -- The second best installement of the Special Herbs beat series, in my opinion.
Code:
http://files.filefront.com/Herbs456xtc/;4300961;;/fileinfo.html
11) Metal Fingers Presents "Special Herbs Vol. 7 & 8" -- Another installment of the Special Herbs beat series.
Code:
http://files.filefront.com/Herbs78xtc/;4303524;;/fileinfo.html
12) Metal Fingers Presents "Special Herbs Vol. 1 & 2" -- The beginning of the Special Herbs beat series.
Code:
http://files.filefront.com/Herbs12xtc/;4300906;;/fileinfo.html
13) Metal Fingers Presents "Special Herbs Vol. 3" -- You get the idea by now
Code:
http://files.filefront.com/Herbs3xtc/;4299696;;/fileinfo.html
14) Viktor Vaughn "Venomous Villain" -- Unquestionably the weakest album Doom has released, although it is worth a download because there are a few good songs including a collab with Kool Keith.
