09/03/2004. RIP Notorious BIG
Firstly, please do not bring hate to this thread, this is in respect of a man who is dead.
On March the 9th 1997, Christopher ' The Notorious BIG' Wallce was shot at 12:30 a.m. in his SUV at a set of traffic lights near a night club. Upon arrival at a nearby hospital BIG was already dying, he later died. The person who shot Biggie Smalls has never been found and no-one has ever been arrested for his killing ( like 2Pac, Jam Master Jay, Big L ). There were 50-100 wotnesses in a nearby car park and yet no-one has come forward with information regarding the shooting. It is believed that he was shot by a police officer, some people also say that 2Pac shot him and others believe it was gang related. Sean 'Puff Daddy' Combs was under investigation from the FBI at the time of Biggie Smalls death but denny that they or a police officer pulled the trigger on The Notorious BIG. The streets of New York City were filled as Christopher Wallace funneral took place, many other rappers and celebrities attended his funneral. Bad Boy records release Bad Boy 10th Anniversary ... The Hits on 09/02/2004 which celebrates the life of Christopher Wallace. The CD inlcudes hits from Biggie Smalls such as 'Mo Money, Mo Problems' and 'Juicy' along with new track like Victory 2004 ( featuring: Notorious BIG, P.Diddy, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks ). The CD also includes a DVD with various BIG music videos on and includes execlusive interviews with P.Diddy. Notorious BIG was on of the illest to ever grace the mic with his catchy lyrics, amazing word play, on point lyrics, fabtastic story telling and great production from Puff Daddy. Even though he is no longer alive he is still better than 99% of current rappers and is still regarded as one of the best ever rappers. With only one album release before his death ( 'Ready To Die', 4x Platinum ) Biggie really proves he's a force to be recconed with, even today. His album, 'Life After Death' went 10x Platinum and was released shortly after his death. 'Born Again' was released in 1999 and featured artists such as Eminem, RedMan, Method Man, Puff Daddy and Notorious KIM went on and went 4x Platinum. There is also a new BIG album in the pipeline for release in 2004 titled 'Duets'. RIP Notorious BIG. You were one of the illest and had the potential to take rap to another level, but your life was cut tragedically short by cowards. Rap has never been the same since you left us all and will never be the same again. Everyday that passes brings us closer to you. I know your living your Life After Death.
