Or you can buy off the rack and have it altered.

There is nothing wrong with getting a pair of nice slacks or jacket off the rack as long as you have it altered.

Yeah, I'm not to the point of getting stuff made from scratch but alterations aren't that expensive.

the alteration alone, if done right, will make it look like it was custom-made

getting clothes made by a tailor (especially shirts) really isn't as much as most people think, and they always fit better.

lol....yeah.....i aint mean an entire wardrobe

but custom tailoring for a a few basics will work wonders...you know...ya basic white button up....get two or 3 ya know

....and for pants....im all for the alterations as needed.....cuz i hate to see a man look all awkward in professional clothing just because he didnt think to let a seam or two out

...my daddy is tall and slim....but has the broadest shoulders and longest arms ever....i'd crack up laughin if he didnt get that right...cuz seeing someones wrist watch with their suit jacket on isnt whoa

what you trying to pay? lol

You can get a suit anywhere just make sure the material and wool isn't cheap and make sure it is tailored.

You can go to any men's store at Pentagon City and get right.

I started out buying Jos. A Bank.. it was classic JFK but not the Brooks Brother prices.

Lately I have been buying Ralph Lauren.

I want to eventually go bespoke just pick my fabrics.. get measured and have the suit sent to me

red dress shirt just isn't a good look.

Look for checks or stripes.

Find a white shirt with a red check in it and then wear a red tie.
